A lot of people seem to think that since a certain point in the manga/anime Kishimoto cheaped out the story and changed what they loved about Naruto into something they didn't love.

I actually have been starting to try and identify these problems people have had with the story, whether its the handling of the time skip or the bull rebirths at the end of the Pain arc or anything else.

If you guys would be so kind as to detail your opinions on the issue, that'd be just cool.

troy and abed in the morrrrrning! lel but yeah my main problems were the rushing towrds the end of the war arc and introducing/resurrecting kaguya...she pretty much just threw her enormous chakra around and didn't really put up much of a fight. The whole thing reminded me of Goku vs Janemba(first form) in Fusion Reborn.

The only problems people have are pointless nit-picks and whatever the **** they define as an "asspull"

The pacing of the war arc is bad.
The huge power up for Sauce and Naruto making them too OP, it'll be hard to find a villain that could hold their own against the 2.
And the SasuSaku pairing is just terrible
They drag obito death for too long.

before zetsu did the backstabb to Madara it seemed really exciting , i thought wewas going to see a badass Madara vs sasuke+naruto fight

You really don't think Neji and Chouji surviving at the end of the SRA wasn't an ass pull?

Ask man of sin or lady byakugan. They're like an expert on that.

i don't like how kishi turned Black Zetsu into little child/baby either or into a narrator, he suppose to be a cold angroid like figure

Madara's demise was a total asspull. Kishi stated that he was struggling to come up with ways in which madara could be beaten and with the deadline looming the whole Kaguya BZ stuff seemed unplanned and a total last min decision.

The arc in itself was 4 years long. So the pacing is problematic as the final villan featured in only 10 chapters. The sasuke and Naruto fight was only about 3 chapters.

Neji's death was also very random. Normally kishi gave characters closure before their looming death. Neji seemed to get no development in part 2. All his potential is part 2 was wasted and even TenTen and Sakura get to live while the genius dies. Never got to see that Neji vs Lee fight. Hard work vs genius

The whole NH thing should have been addressed in the manga. The movie sounds lovely but it does seem silly to omit that in the manga considering all the NH teasers we have had to endure.

Oro's proper back story was heavily hinted at around the time of the kage edo tesni. It never happened.

Itachi being hailed as a hero doesn't sit well neither. He was a mass murderer and it suited his character better imo.

Sasuke being tnj at the end was lame. He has resisted naruto's plea for so many years for him to take yet another U turn at the every end casts doubt on his development. Revolution sasuke seemed to be the real sasuke. The real answer to all the pain he endured. But kid's like happy endings

Kishi trying to save face and save naruto and sasuke from Madara by having BZ save them with the backstab

DELETE every chapter between BZ negging Madara and Kaguya being sealed (both included).
GET a lot time for character development past 699.
Nuff said.

I agree completely with this post. I was waiting for Madara vs Naruto & Sasuke. With Kaguya 10 chapters were wasted, it could have been awesome.

After Hyping up Tsunades Medical Ninjutsu it'd be an asspull if they didn't, and 2 extremely pointless deaths.

I agree with you on everything but the Itachi and Sasuke parts.

Granted. What about NONE of the Kages dying after Madara destroyed them? Or what about Neji dying in Pt. 2? Man that was a really badly handled death. So random. No buildup.

How can you define those as asspulls? Those are nit-picks.

The Kages were on the Verge of Death, Tsunade saved the others with the Slugs and almost died herself, But Orochimaru saved her.

Neji Dying was not badly handled. If you have build-up to a death its too ****ing obvious and leaves no impact.

Like the latest Parasyte episode. If it wasn't so ****ing obvious that girl was gonna run into another parasite and get killed then it woulda been more impactful.

If none of the Main cast died during The Juubis assault then you got yourselves an odd final battle.

In the heat of battle Neji threw himself to protect Naruto AND Hinata developing his character from before when he would always belittle them and had a goal to actually kill Hinata for his grudge against the main branch.

Him choosing his own death the same way his father did was poetic. Far from an asspull

Poetic but rushed. Would have at least like to see some part 2 Neji development before that happened. Instead its like, "oh the guy that was really cool in part 1 died? That sucks instead of making it emotional like Jiraiya's and Asuma's deaths were handled.
