[Question] How can I edit the title of my thread

If I'm not mistaken ... premium members should be able to edit their threads title

Someone told me to double click around the title .... I tried but it didn't work

So how can I do it .

I don't think you can? All I know is click "Advance post and change it from there though it doesn't change on the homepage

I told you it doesn't change on the homepage, it still keeps the orginginal title except the OP when you edit like you did. I believe no one other than the mods/Admins can change the title from the homepage if that's what you are talking about.

I told him that part already. I'm pretty sure you can't change it from the homepage which I think he was asking

Go to the section where you made the thread find it and double click next to the name ( do not open it).

It should give you the option to edit it.

I double clicked everywhere around it .... but nothing happen

You should ask another premium member or a mod. Since I am neither I cannot show you.

Go to edit and then Advanced edit. You get the option to edit a thread title there. But it does not show the changed title in the forum listing.
I would also ask you to check the "Thread tools" option at the top of the first post of your thread.

Sigh. Premium members don't get the option to change the name of their threads, they get close threads at any time, or delete their thread within a 10 day time frame from when said thread was made.

You must be registered for see images

The thread title can be changed, there is a window from once you make the thread, you can change the title. I think the window is open for about one minute, or less. Alas, I believe this window is there for if you make a spelling mistake, or an simple error, and you realize before it is too late.

That double click method may be allowed by some forums, and/or is only usable my mods. It's a short cut for the mods.
