See that is perfectly well and reasonable. But on most occasions she goes back to sitting back and crying / lamenting /waiting to be saved / endangering the others etc. That's not proper development. It's frustrating.

Sakura's greatest feats are her abilities as a medical nin. She has done well in that regard. However part one sakura has no redeeming qualities.

I just realized something at the very end now, it seems that everything that the characters wanted during their introduction seems to have been accomplished, with much more.

Naruto became Hokage, and thus finally became acknowledged by the rest of Konoha, and the entire shinobi nations as well for saving the world.

Sasuke avenged the death of his clan by taking out the perpetrators in question (Black Zetsu and Danzo), and is now accomplishing the second phase of his dream, to rebuild the clan through Sarada Uchiha.

Sakura, ... well she wanted to bang Sasuke, well that was pretty much accomplished I guess ...

So it seems that in the end, everyone got what they wanted when it comes to the three protagonist.

It is Kishi's fault. But when you compare her to Sakura. Sakura is expected to have more than a side character. Yet she doesn't. Lol People bring up her comparison with Hinata as if its a insult. While its true Hinata's only goal was Naruto. It can be argued that she had lesser screen time. Hence why her character was always around Naruto. With Sakura there should be no excuses.

Considering the fact that she is a team 7 member, her development is lacking to say the least. I have pointed out some positives to her character but it's a shame that Sakura fans aren't able to see the bigger picture, what everyone else sees.
