Cool Pen Tool Effect

Hi, im going to show you how to do a cool effect with the pen tool.
Program:Photoshop CS4
Result:
You must be registered for see images


Open render or something you want to draw the line.
Create a new layer.
Selecct the Pen Tool and click through the render
You must be registered for see images


Now click between the points you've created
You must be registered for see images


Now press and hold Ctrl and click & move the "middle points"
It shoul look like this:

Non select the brush tool and be sure that you have whit has "main color"
You must choose one of the indicated brushes to get the effect
You must be registered for see images


Now selecct the pen tool again and right click the line.
Choose Contour route (maybe this its a bad translation,lol, my PS its in spanish *-*)
now it shold look like this D:

Right click the line and selecct "Delete path"
Double click the layer and select "outer glow"
Choose the color/configuration you want (lol, see its in spanish ._.)
You must be registered for see images


Now use the Eraser tool to erase some parts of the line to make it appear that the line us around the render(something like 1 up, 1down)
You must be registered for see images


Now you can can add some points using a smaller the brush (recomended size:5-13) in the same layer
You must be registered for see images


Feel free to post your results and any question you have.
Remember: use different configurations to get more and even better results.

I've been trying to find out how exactly to do this, but i found no basic tutorials, only ones who won't explain shit to me.
Meh, meh...he missed some important parts :/
When you click on stroke path, you MUST select the Stimulate Pressure box
You can do the recoloring simply choosing the color as foreground color instead of using outer glow

good for him to know and share some stuff ^_^
anyway, i'm not fond of erasing the lines instead I use vector mask (using alt+?) then erasing some parts of the lines.

Thats the simplest thing ever posted here,maybe you could find something more complicated eh?
there are GFX forums with more complicated tutorials, its a good tutorial for beginers to learn smth new, dont be so ignorant

good tut, but guitar isnt bright enough.. its surounded by lots of light :D
