His juubi jinchuriki body was what was keeping him from dying from the initial attacks. At which point Gai's body was starting to give way. Gai needed an opening to give the finishing blow, and that's where Minato's plan came into play.

I get you like Sasuke, but be objective about this. Sasuke isn't going to just neg difficult 8th gate Gai who took on Juubi Maddy one on one. It is unrealistic.



We are talking about Sasuke here not Itachi. Itachi is the one who doesn't need eye contact to place you in genjutsu. Sasuke has yet to show that feat.

How? When the Juubi Jin Madara was didn't have the Shinju. Sasuke was manhandling that version of Madara, and Gai faced Pre-Shinju Madara. Sasuke is scaled above the 1 Eyed Shinju Madara, so he won't have much difficulty against Gai. It has nothing to do with my bias towards Sasuke. Once they came out of Hagoromo's talk, the only people that compare to Naruto and Sasuke are Hagoromo, Madara and Kaguya. The rest don't compare.

most of the fight was just Minato, Kakashi, and Lee Gaara standing in awe at how fast Gai was moving. Once Gai started to loose steam they stepped in. So yeah most of the time it was just Maddy and Gai. Not the entire fight but most of it.

And that's Maddy's fault for not using the Limbo. So let's not even go there. this about Sasuke and Gai not Maddy and Gai.

Uh.. what? Sasuke clearly didn't make eye contact with the Bijuu's when he put all 9 of them in genjutsu. Thus he can do it; it's a feat.

How vulnerable is 8G Gai to attacks? Sasuke can teleport a sword right through Gai if he was close enough. But I'm not sure if he can react to his speed. His PS should be able to stop most of his attacks but at some point it will get destroyed.

But in the end I see Sasuke the victor. His new abilities are just to great.

Still madara barely used gudodama but gai was saved by his minato etc. Madara didn't even use one of his most powerfull attack Lïmbo.

Madara would've had a easy win.

Activating Susano'o is basically instant, so you just answered your own question. Sasuke wins.

That's right, a draw. Gai cannot kill Sasuke without giving up his own life in return, resulting in nobody left standing in the end, which is a tie by default.

I still don't believe that Gai would just instantly blitz to Sasuke and kill him before Sasuke does anything to avoid it with Amenotejikara/tank it with PS, though, so i'm not even convinced Gai draws.

It's not as fast as gai in 8th gate though that's the whole point. It needs to already be up before Gai moves or he is going to take a hit before that ribcage can even pops up.

I do agree, Sasuke has been Seriously Nerfed here. PS is his best defense against this. So without it he looses or Draw as you say since Gai is just going to die soon after.

Are you implying that he spun in a complete circle to look at all 9 of them? Because otherwise he didn't need eye contact for 8/9 of them.

Well, if Sasuke doesn't use PS while Guy hit him with at least 2-3 Evening Elephant it is over for Sasuke, but I agree if Sasuke starts out with Perfect Susanoo he can win against Guy. But remember, Night Month is not that easy to block, even though Sasuke can use Genjutsu by the time both of them runs out of chakra, so I take this as a yes. Sasuke is genius after all.

8th gate gai destroys sasuke in my opinion. Sasuke just doesn't have the defence. Gai has so much power and speed in that form, with one punch he can probably break open susanoo. 8th gate gai is quite op.

Exactly, Hagoromo said it took a glance one look to place all nine of them in genjutsu, he didn't even need to look at most of them
