I am a Naruhina fan and personally I think this more so reflects on Kishi's writing decisions rather than Naruto's and Hinata's characters or validity as a couple. After all, Naruto and Hinata didn't kill Neji. In short, I don't feel guilty or bad about Naruhina at all. After all, two people have the right to fall in love even after someone dies.

I do feel sorry for Neji however.

I feel Kishi not needed to do that and Im feel sorry for Neji, he has a potential to be Hyuuga image saving figure, there are many way Kishi can done to save Naruto and Hinata without sacrificing someone that is a primary characters of Naruto manga. Why not using some fodder, because he will be honoured more for saving MC, and I think it will inflict or left more sad and pay back feeling on Naruto. Or used some pull out moment for Naruto to save Hinata and himself like chakra arm or some random Hyuuga shooting a fist or palm attack on the mokuton needle, Kishi is asspull king afterall if he really want to save NaruHina future.

I already knew Kishi done this is for NaruHina even before Radon reveal. I already discuss this matter in one unrelated thread that title 'Itachi early scatch'.
It is about if Neji not protecting Hinata, Kishi will used other method to saved her for NaruHina plot, and I said if Hinata still having a future plot, Kishi will saved her if no,Kishi will kill her. That mean I already anticipated it before

But still I think Kishi should done batter, I know he want or tried to tell us NaruHina is the cannon. But as one member said here, Naruto and Hinata dont kill Neji, but that is Kishi decision,

As I said - I don't think it's 'the reason' Kishimoto killed off Neji.

Consider the original conflict between Naruto and Neji - the "Destiny" and "Loser" argument where Naruto challenged what Neji assumed was Naruto's destiny - and how Neji was destined to die in defense of the head branch.

Also note how Naruto said he would change the Hyuuga.

Consider that Naruto was the child of prophecy - that he was destined to do great things... Even though Naruto appeared to be the boy who defied destiny - he was merely fulfilling his own destiny.

Thus, Neji must fulfill his destiny at some point. He must defend the head branch. Naruto must change the Hyuuga. It all overlays into a situation where Hinata defends Naruto and Neji defends the two of them, choosing to defend a friend. He finally earns his freedom.

Because of the intimacy of the whole thing - it is only natural to assume it would 'throw' Naruto and Hinata together.

I would argue that Neji's death in the series was predestined. It was going to happen, and it would happen defending Hinata. It would also involve defending Naruto. This was most likely conceived around the time of the Chunnin Exam arc.

Neji's death was bullshit.

Almost every death in the series that pertains to Naruto/Sasuke are just for their character development.

In this instance it was to develop Naruto, Hinata, and their relationship.

They both grew from his death in positive ways.



What I felt about Neji's death is the same I felt about the J-Man's death.

"Damn, that's ****ed up. They killed the big homie."



Only dumb-asses are going to say that Neji died for NH alone. I won't point any fingers because I'd rather not get banned.
