The pairings in this story were dragged out with stalled development to create interest. It is what it is. Considering the only thing it takes in the movie for Naruto to reciprocate Hinata's feelings is watching their interactions from her side, all of the shit that happens afterwards in the movie shouldve logically taken place after Pain, but Kishimoto didn't go that route.

yeah but mates read the title of this thread, it say what would be the last like if neji didnt die, it still be the last cause in the movie neji had zero revelance to the last, okay if neji died and brought noodle and hinata together, at least in the last we see noodle and hinata eating together or something talking about something (if neji brought them together and closer) but in the last neji death had zero revlance because neji dying or not in the last Noodle and hinata arent close together, is sakura who brings them close to each not neji death, so oooo neji death had zero revalnce to the movie, it has much more revelance to the manga cause he died protecting them waring noodle to kepp hinata protected, we see them standing together at his furnel they are close to each other, in the movie (the last ) it no revelance, hinata and noodle arent close is sakura who brings them close, read the title of the thread mates

Totally agree. Naruto actually had some feelings for Hinata whether romantic or not that another debate. The NH moments in the manga happened at crucial times. The fact that Naruto needed Genjutsu to remind him of these moments takes all credit away from the manga. It should have been a transition / progression rather than one min he doesn't the next min he does.
