@minamoto
The problem is that NaruSaku never HAD any realistically romantic moments to begin with.
NaruSaku solely feeds off TROPES and CLICHES, mainly 'Main-x-Main' and 'Tsundere' (and additionally the mutual Sasuke-obsession as well).
There isn't much actual interaction between NARUTO and SAKURA outside of these cliches (and Sasuke).
NaruHina goes entirely the other way around, by building upon the actual CHARACTERS and their interaction, instead of predetermined cliches or tropes (or any third parties altogether).

The problem in you "opinion" that Naruto was never forced to love Hinata. He could easily end up Ino, Tenten or any other female character in the series.

And maybe didn't love her romanticaly, but as the story progressed, he started to respecting her (chapter 559 + 615 and so on).

Also, you forgot what Kushina feared that was shown in chapter 664: "He won't understand the feelings of girls".

So it is not a force couple, not better nor worse than NaruSaku of course and unlike GokuChichi they still spent time together as friends

So no, neither NaruSaku nor NaruHina had to be happen, Naruto could even marry with a new introcuted female character, Tenten or Ino, too.

I'm
I didn't see Sakura ever admiring Naruto for being a proud failure, did you?
I didn't see Naruto ever making a blood vow to avenge Sakura, did you?
I didn't see Sakura ever being ready to knowingly sacrifice herself for Naruto in a direct confrontation with an enemy, did you?
I didn't see Naruto ever seeing Sakura's strength in her eyes, did you?
I didn't see Sakura ever recognizing Naruto by looking into his eyes, did you?
I didn't see Naruto ever thanking Sakura for being by his side, did you?
I didn't see Sakura ever TnJ'ing Naruto by invoking their shared nindo, did you?
I mean, sure, NO NaruHina DEVELOPMENT WHATSOEVER.
You can apply all of that to Sasuke and say narusasu is better developed than naruhina.

NaruSasu is definitely more developed than NaruSaku ever was, mostly cause the latter RELIES on the former.
NaruHina, though, is another story, with no stupid crushes or obsessions, rather admiration and valid goals instead.

So basically a friendship? Lol never once in the manga did naruto show romantic feelings for hinata.

Naruto never DENIED (potentially) having romantic feelings for Hinata.
Sakura did this towards Naruto aplenty.
This is the main reason why I consider NaruSaku fans to be hopeless trope-leeches.
In this case, for tsundere idiocies.
As in, "we don't care that the only bond these two have, is violent beating in response to romantic attempts - it's the way tsunderes work anyways".
Which blatantly ignores the obvious Saku=>Sasu crush to begin with, besides Sakura NOT having even a slightest thought of returning Naruto's feelings EVER (when it was still assumed he HAD any).

Why are you bringing up other non existent pairings? My question was in regards to NaruHina, which you said naruto never denied having feelings. You know why? Because that pairing was never developed. Kishi took the piss in 700. Absolutely took the piss.

98, 437, 559, 615 - not much in numbers, but a lot in development actually.

Narusasu and narusaku fans can pull out chapters depicting emotional interactions between their ships as well. Wheb you can get me a page where Naruto says he loves Hinata, then I'll be satisfied. Till then, kishi can't write romance and gave us a piss poor epilogue.

Those are 2 separate claims.
I do agree that he gave us a very UN-satisfactory epilogue per se.
But I totally disagree that NaruHina was anything less than set in stone by 699.
It's a big mistake to think that love can only be about mushy stuff like flowers and dates.
It can also be about life goals and admiration of personalities, which is the precise case with NaruHina from my point of view.
Hinata isn't Sakura.
Though Sakura is a different exaggeration, but hers is rather "romantic" anyways, at least the way it started to begin with.
Hinata never thought how handsome or cool Naruto was - for her, it was much more important WHO he was.
And this idea is thoroughly kept till the very end, cause it's precisely what 615 is based upon.
While Sakura never went beyond "I'll do for Sasuke anything he wants, just come back to me" - Hinata actually focuses on her and Naruto's life goals and philosophy (aka nindo) instead.
She totally ignores the outwardness that is the central point of SasuSaku, focusing entirely "inside".
THAT is why I love NaruHina so much as well - cause it's NOT superficial like your typical "ship" that is all about dates and flowers and kisses.
NaruHina is rather about healing childhood traumas and stepping towards a brighter tomorrow together - a very RARE topic in such type of fiction actually (I know of no other, but I'm not an expert).

The exposition we get for naruhina is from hinata's perspective, not naruto's. That's why I have a problem with it. It was only set in stone per say by 699 because sakura went back to being a sasuke fangirl. Kishi could havd easily gone with narusaku or even narsasu(though this is a shonen) I'm not denying that Hinata's love for naruto was not genuine, or that she doesn't deserve him. I just wanted something from Naruto's side and not just timeskip boom they're married. I guess the movie "fixes" that, but really it should have happened in the manga.

@Jim
Did you even read what I wrote above?
It does reflect upon their MUTUAL points, such as their SHARED nindo of never giving up to hardships and similar CHILDHOOD problems that they had to overcome (and DID).
