sorry for title ......

-im not really fan of naruto couples.....but this is my own opinion :

-Naruto never loved Hinata...during the whole series he loved Sakura .....but after many years till the end of manga , he realized that Sakura doesn't love him but loves Sasuke....so when Naruto realized that Sasusuku will 100% happen , he was forced to accept the Hinaruto fact and deal with it .........otherwise how come naruto never loved hinata and all in sudden that love explose in the Last Movie??.......Kishimito made it look so...he made it seem that Hinaruto was the result of the friendzone ....kishimoto himself said that romance in naruto Manga was not his his priority...

-i think ksihimoto used izanagi to rewrote Reality and performed Retcon no jutsu....so instead of ending the Manga with Sakunaru...he ended it with Hinaruto

@ red- bull nuts....Nads recognized Sakura loved Sasuke since part 1 and ACCEPTED it...that was the whole point of the promise of a lifetime....Nads was PRO SasuSaku......

I agree that his supposedly loving Hinata the whole time in the movie is bull sh*t though....who does Kishi think he's kidding.....and I don't buy that Nads didn't love her genuinely what with the drama of the kage summit arc and that flash back with Sai....that is NOT the face and those are NOT the words of someone whose love was trivial...

...that said, that doesn't diminish how he came to love Hinata, nor does it make Hinata second choice....Naruto accepted that he and Sakura wouldn't happen since part 1 and he wasn't checking for her like that....it's only natural that as his life evolves someone else catches his eye.....your mom is your dad's "second choice" by that logic.

Manga disagrees, Naruto showed more compassion to Hinata than Sakura. :coffee:

hinata wouldnt have been a nice stalker unlike karin if nh wasnt planned.
its funny after 2 years they finnally speak and genjutsu has to be used to connect them. it should have been like narubito ninshu during the war.

Naruto realized Sakura loved Sasuke during the retrieval act.

From there on it was just to make Naru/Saku fans think something was going to happen.

Hence why Kishi in an interview said it was a red herring. The people got played!

Not really.

Called it well over a year ago. Not just that NaruHina would happen - but that the Hyuuga would be the center of the final plot and revolve heavily around Hinata.

Why did Kabuto heal Hinata?

Why did Kishimoto use such vast amounts of space for an injury that he could have simply had the Leaf ninjas heal?

This goes back to the very beginning of the series - the entwined destinies of Naruto and Hinata ingrained into the Tao, itself.

What Naruto realized is not "that NaruSaku isn't going to happen" - he realized that he wanted a companion and partner in life. Not a trophy.

Hinata is his companion and partner simply by virtue of her own personality.

Kishimoto has hinted at this for a long time. "I never go back on my word. That is my Nindo."

"The Last" is the story he wanted to tell from the beginning.

He did it to try and add a little bit of suspense to the plot, more so than anything. He wanted to give people the idea that Naruto and Sakura were a plausible romantic couple.

The problem is, however, that Naruto was always to end up with Hinata. That was evident as far back as the first concept drawings of the characters that Kishimoto submitted to the publishers.

Of course, one didn't have to understand Taoism to understand where Kishimoto was taking the story - but the dynamics of Naruto and Hinata are directly coupled to Taoist philosophy, and it's apparent in that earliest picture, as well. Hinata is depicted in the shade of a hill while Naruto sits in the sun on the face of the hill. This is the classic explanation for Yin/Yang. Yin is the hill, Yang is what makes the hill visible.

It only made sense that the final plot would revolve around the Hyuuga - just as one of the first major conflicts revolved around the concept of destiny, the last major conflict fulfills that destiny.

Neji was not mistaken. Naruto and Hinata do share the same destiny in the end.

"There can be no doubt."

Neji wasn't seeing his own destiny. He was seeing Naruto's - and it appeared very similar to Hinata's.

Indeed, they share the same destiny.

This is why Hinata tripped and passed out when Naruto was on death's doorstep.

Because Kishimoto had such a predestined notion of who Naruto would end up with, it was difficult for him to write a convincing story line for him to have much in the way of a relationship with any other female. He could have made things "more complicated" between Sakura and Naruto - blurring the lines between friendship and romance a bit - but because he didn't have that as the end game, he really never paid it much more than a bit of lip-service and symbolism.

If you'd actually watch the movie you'll understand. Naruto loved Hinata since they first met, however Naruto didn't know the feeling of love. Sakura explains it to him in the last. He never felt this way for sakura, he was simply crushing.

NaruHina FTW! :)

I didn't see Sakura ever admiring Naruto for being a proud failure, did you?
I didn't see Naruto ever making a blood vow to avenge Sakura, did you?
I didn't see Sakura ever being ready to knowingly sacrifice herself for Naruto in a direct confrontation with an enemy, did you?
I didn't see Naruto ever seeing Sakura's strength in her eyes, did you?
I didn't see Sakura ever recognizing Naruto by looking into his eyes, did you?
I didn't see Naruto ever thanking Sakura for being by his side, did you?
I didn't see Sakura ever TnJ'ing Naruto by invoking their shared nindo, did you?
I mean, sure, NO NaruHina DEVELOPMENT WHATSOEVER.

he didn't know how to deal with couples and romance in his own manga...the good thing is dat kishi admitted that...the sad thing that his confession was too late...after the end of Manga....im not against narutohina...im just against the narusaku moments....
