Kurama Extraction: Is Kushina's Chakra more potent than Naruto's?

I always wondered why Kushina survived the bijuu extraction due to her Uzumaki chakra and life force, while her son did not. Is it because he's only half Uzumaki? Maybe. But I have another theory I posted a while ago in another thread.

This'll be short:

I believe that the real difference between Kushina surviving and Naruto not, is not necessary based on Naruto's chakra or life force being inferior to his mom's, but is based on the actual relationship they have with Kurama.

When Obito released kurama, Kushina's exceptionally strong uzumaki life force kept her alive. Even after just giving birth. By comparison it would see her son's chakra was of less quality since he didn't last nearly as long. But there are some factors overlooked.

Naruto was probably the only real friend Kurama ever made. Prior to this, he hated humans. Heck ALL the bijuu did at some point. Kushina was nothing more than a cell to Kurama, as opposed to naruto who was willing to see him as a friend and ally. When Naruto and Kurama worked together, their chakra became one as Naruto became the perfect Jin. His chakra and life force was deeply tied to Kurama's. So when Madara extracted kurama, it would make sense that naruto wouldn't be saved by his uzumaki chakra, because he was directly tied to kyubi when he was taken.

Kushina on the other hand, was at odds with kurama. They never cooperated or worked together in anyway. This is the major reason IMO that Kushina could rely on her chakra to keep her alive, when Obito released Kurama. He was not in anyway tied to her chakra other then being his 'jailer'. Thus she survived not because her chakra was greater than Naruto's, but because they were both in different situations involving how 'close' Kurama was to them.

Anyway that's my theory. What say you?

Cause she's a full Uzumaki, whilst Naruto is only half. Of course she has more life-force.

I don't think so. Hagoromo's statement about children not inheriting the full potential of his parents would imply that his natural potential was inferior to Kushina's.

I tend to think it's because Kushina is 100% Uzumaki, but I like the implications of your theory :)

This is actually something i've been thinking about too, you pretty much hit the nail on the dot about my theory.

When Naruto got bijuu mode it was obvious he was in good terms with Kurama and they linked their chakra's together which is why Naruto was able to get BSM since both their chakras were linked and Kurama's chakra wouldn't interfere. Because of this bond, their chakra became one and so when Madara removed kurama from him it meant he was basically removing all his chakra.

Or it could be the fact that Kushina just has a stronger life force, she was able to survive an extraction from Full Kurama and Naruto almost died when he lost Yang. Pretty big gap between the two's life forces.

Naruto was fighting for days.

Yeah...that's not true at all.

Not to mention both Kushina and Naruto(originally) sucked at ninjutsu. Kishi is just forgetting stuff again.

Thing is, Naruto surpassed both his parents by the middle of the war. I think that even though what Hago said is true, naruto has shown to be a late bloomer in terms of skill. He didn't get any stronger till Jiraya started teaching him.

No, he inherited his mother's strong life force/chakra. That's why he was a compatible host for Kurama as an infant unlike his adult father. Plus Naruto had ASURA CHAKRA.
