Many long years down the track
The heavens will watch as a lonely soul
Begins it's long awaited journey Eastwards
They will watch as this soul reaches the oceans
Then slowly and wearily clamber aboard the old ship
As if there was no strength left in it's battered body
Just like the the ship which looked as if it wouldn't make it
But this soul was determined
It would do anything in it's power
To make sure it reached it's destination
The heavens will continue to watch
As the soul enters this unfamiliar land
For many days it will travel
On foot just like a wayfarer
With mixed feelings in it's heart
Grieved, but at the same time
Filled with a great sense of longingness
Traveling by day and resting by night
It will have to search
For the thing calling it's heart
Like there was a thread gently pulling it
It will cross over mountains going Northwards
Growing more impatient as the thread shortens
Drawing it closer to the destined meeting
The heavens will still continue to watch
As this soul reaches the place called KeriKeri
It will sense the close proximity
Of the one that it would meet
It's heart will start to beat faster
As it realizes that
It had found what it had been searching for
The mind will then be a blur
As it runs closer to what is calling
Then embracing it tightly
With tears streaming down it's tired face
The familiar warm feeling of being held close
And breathing in the soft fresh fragrance
Reminding the soul that it was once loved
These two souls will just stand there
With both hearts beating in synchronization
And no words would be needed
As if they were talking with just their hearts
And the heavens will be moved
Upon witnessing this meeting of fate
