the majority of Naruto fanbase is japanese males, meaning a hell lot of virgins yep, welcome to Japan!!!
a lot of them will probably never have intercourse before reaching their 30's...even if they will fap watching a bunch of ecchi/hentai stuff everyday, sad but true.

i think the main difference here is that it's romantic, about love and with some sexual tension content all at the same time, also Naruto is just like a friend for many fans => very realistic context + you can easily identify with him if you are a young male whom grown with Naruto.

You're probably right....but I don't see hinata experiencing any sexual tension :V. I see it a lot on naruto's end though but he was always somewhat perverted so I kinda expected it from him. Between him stealing a chick's underwear in RTN, him staring at hinata while she was bathing in some random filler, and him oggling a chick in lingerie in the second episode of naruto part one, I'm not surprised that he'd be checking hinata out.
