Not really. Kishi approved of all the movies and yet none up till Last were canon. Kishi just gives the rights to do stuff based on his work. There were a few novels of part 1 before and they weren't canon.
Besides, even if it was canon I won't count it in. Novels, OVAs, games etc. None of that. Manga and anime for me. AMEN.

Yeah but it's not as though naruto's thoughts were described in the novel. I mean I could see it if they went into detail about what he wanted to do to her but the fact is they didn't. It's not like it's a porn novel.
