Do you think sarada is spoiled as well??? To me it just seems like naruto and sasuke would be the type of people that spoil their kids or smother their kids since they didn't receive too much real attention as kids till they were older.

Well maybe Hinata will but Naruto seems like a neglectful father.

I honestly think Sakura would be strict with Sarada, since she was brought up by a strict mother.

The person is referring to chapter 700.
Still, it's kind of funny reading his post.
Even in chapter 700 it's hinted(with Iruka and Naruto's chat with Bolt) that Naruto was probably spoiled Bolt until he became Hokage and he wasn't able to focus only on him anymore, the movie seems to confirm this to be true.

I mean there's at least clues that Naruto is a decent parent, that's more than I can say for Sasuke. We aren't even sure how long he stays at home, and when he chooses to come back and sees his family.

That's all very true. That's what I was thinking..it just seems like naruto used to be the type of parent that smothered bolt with affection because he never really had it at bolt's age. You know what though?? One person had a really good point regarding sasuke's parenting. Remember how sarada called sasuke "papa"?? well they were saying it's an indication of a close relationship with one's parent in Japanese culture. But to me that just makes it seem like he only spoils her when he's there because she wants attention 24/7 from him on the rare occasion that he is around.

I heard about the 'Papa' thing too, so yeah he probably does spoil her when he's around to do so. I don't know really, I've never gave much thought about how Sasuke's interaction with his family. I always assumed that Sasuke coming home must be Salad's own personal Christmas, she's ecstatic when it shows up, \sad when it passes, and longing for it to return so she can have those feeling of happiness again.

it's been discussed already, that sarada calls sakura and sasuke mama and papa (literally, you can read the japanese), which in japan is said to be used as an expression from kids who love and get loved by his parents so much, like being spoiled. like the kids and their parents have really close relationship.

himawari calls hinata mama, but bolt just calls naruto father (a bit formal).

so its safe to assume himawari is spoiled by hinata (probably naruto as well) just like sarada but bolt isnt.

I bet Hinata isn't that close to her son since Himawari is her priority, I guess.

You also have to look at their personalities. Bolt definitely seems like the kind of kid who wants their dad's attention all the time. Maybe this is due to being spoiled as well. So yes, it's likely that he's spoiled them.

Given Hinata's nature, it's obvious that she's also spoiled them.

This also explains why Bolt is acting out. Naruto recently becoming Hokage and not having time to always be there for him shows how spoiled Bolt was.

Sarada on the other hand is hard to say. Sakura's likely to have spoiled her, but it's obvious that Sasuke isn't always there. Her saying "papa" could just be due to her nature as well.

Based on Sasuke's relationship with Fugaku I'm sure he gives Sarada as much attention and pampering as he can.

Never, because she is Sasuke-kun's daughter as well. :hint:

Boruto wasn't crying out for attention for no reason.

It seemed to me that naruto was busy since he is the hokage and bolt was a spoiled kid but I doubt that he neglects his kids.
