Many famous petitions have yielded victories, or at least helped push a desired outcome in the right direction. Even if this is only a single step forward, it's a step forward nonetheless.

Don't try to denigrate this effort or the bile of said member, as the latter attempts to increase racial divide and that is dangerous and undesirable. Be it only an attempt, but an attempt has caused much more in history so it's not be scoffed at.

As I already told you, it's not always the petition itself that breeds victory. It is often the raison d'être for a cause's forwarding. Our effort is moving forward, whether you can see it or not is neither here nor there.
