With the release of the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer, there has been equal measures of joy and disdain flowing through the Star Wars fandom. There are some who eat up every single thing the franchise offers and others who checked out after Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace. There's no way to please everyone, though some complaints are a whole lot more understandable than others. Lately, the biggest complaints have come from those annoyed that the series has its first black storm trooper in actor John Boyega. Luckily, not only has Boyega heard about this, he's crafted a masterful response to his detractors.

Nothing to Say here other than it amazes me when people just try too hard to find things to b1tch about and what I read is that this was perfectly explained in past movies.

The Clone Army of the prequels wasn't the majority of the stormtrooper force by the original trilogy. The Empire started recruiting regular people, and God forbid some of them be black Lol

Idiots who are complaining about that need to look up the lore.

The problem is that people only saw the prequels and think they are star wars experts.
They think that all and every stormtrooper is a clone, while that can't be further from true.
In facto, almost no clone trooper (ser the damn diference?) was alive after the clone wars due to their short life span. After that, the Empire started to employ regular people as guarda, just like every other empire, with includes (gasp!) black people.
