? didn't he steal from a gas station, got caught, and tried to run? he didn't deserve to die and i feel like we'll never know what really happened. i do think his size intimidated the cop so he trigger happyed on his gun because he was a wuss. should've just tazed the boy and handcuffed him but no..cop got scared

Why can't he be a thug who was a kid that didn't deserve to die?

Michael Brown was an 18-year-old thug and common criminal. In an act of self defense, Brown was killed by a cop due to viciously attacking and drastically outclassing him in both strength and stature. Though the form of self defense was excessive, it was self defense nonetheless and resulted in the death of another societal detriment.

He was probably kind hearted and he was also obviously thugish. It's hard to say since I never met him.

The cop could've shocked him and cuffed him, or at-least shot him in the leg, what was the point of shooting him 6 times?????????

Terrible argument. If a 5-year-old boy was given a gun and was attacked by a lion, bear or gorilla, would you rather him die than use his gun?

His gun was his Taser. + He didn't have a Taser on him at the time.

The same reason this small, fodder cop was close to this large and aggressive thug -- he was simply attacked.

He still stole something. If he's man enough to steal something and push the cashier, he should had been man enough to not to resist arrest. Even though shooting is too far, I mean shoot him once in the leg than okay that's a little understandable, but 6 times is way too much. With that said I don't think the officer deserves jail time, but he should not be a cop again.

Pretty much what I think. Obviously he must have been a different person on the streets compared to when he's with family.

Some food for thought: If people constantly know that cops can be paranoid, oversensitive people with an itching trigger finger, shouldn't that mean that you should try not to provoke them and instead, be more compliant? I think that Wilson's injuries didn't seem severe, but putting your hands on a cop probably isn't the best idea, and almost always makes you look like the guilty one.
