Satoshi released his chakra from his body into the earth below him so that he would be able to freely manipulate the ground. He would then form a pillar from the ground , elevating himself about 10 feet .
"Very good. Indeed this technique is extremely versatile in all of its applications. One of my personal favorites are simply to cause the earth to rise up and bind the opponent's feet with the technique. Its chakra efficient yet creative. Don't underestimate this technique simply because its D-Rank. The uses for it are practically endless and left up to your imagination. However, remember when using it to dodge an attack keep size, shape, and speed in mind. This won't be fast enough to dodge something incredibly quick. And be very weary when you're in the air. I mean extremely weary. Being in the air is incredibly dangerous at times and can leave quite a few openings. Anyways, any questions?"Its cool man Lol and I understand I'll be more descriptive .
Satoshi would look down at his teacher and began to answer his question.
I think that this technique is very ususeful. Even at its D-Rank state, the manipulation of doton can be used for various situations.
Satoshi hopped down from the pillar landing on his feet. He would then be facing his teacher with his thumb pointed backward ,similar to you giving the thumbs up signal , towards the pillar.
With just that pillar right there, I would be able to dodge an attack, get elevated to I would have a height advantage or just great a pillar under my enemy to surprise and injure them.
"Great! Alright, lets move on. So the next technique will allow you to produce from rocks a staff. This can be done by creating the rock yourself or simply using existing earth and shaping it. Now you can throw it at your opponent with extremely precise accuracy or create a barrage that can hit multiple locations but with less accuracy. It is a fairly straight forward technique. Now, I want you to perform it but then after you're done performing it try to explain what happens to the strength of the technique when you create multiple staves."no questions here.
"Very good. Indeed the strength and accuracy would decrease. So in this case you have a D-Rank earth cane. Should you create a single one it is equivalent to D-Rank in strength. However if you create two you end up with two E-Rank canes. This is a very important aspect of using multiple projectiles that should always be taken into account. Can you tell me what would happen if you had an A-Rank technique and produced four projectiles from it? What rank would those projectiles be considered?"Satoshi allowed his chakra to flow into the ground below him causing a chunk of earth to rise from the ground. The chuck would then shave off excess rock as it was levitating, forming a spear. He would then grab the levitating stone and hold it like a javelin with his right hand. With his left eye closed for maximum accuracy his right one focused on a tree about 10 meters away, he took a few steps, with the final step causing him to be leaning forward and launched the spear through the air. The spear would rip through the trees trunk with only half of it being visible.
Satoshi turned and look at his teacher.
I believe that the strength along with the accuracy would decrease more and more with each staff the user creates (during one attack).
nah I don't get it. Lets try another example."Actually, when you split an A-Rank into 4 separate projectiles you get 4 C-Rank projectiles. To get to D-Rank you'd have to create 8. Does that make sense or do you want to try another example?"
"Alright!" I smile, happy with my students honesty! "Now, lets take a look at a B-Rank technique. So, if you split a B-Rank into 2 projectiles, you end up with two C-Rank projectiles. Those two C-Rank projectiles, should the be combined together again, will always total up to the original B-Rank damage. However individually they are weaker but combined they are equal. Now, lets look at that with the A-Rank technique. If you produce 2 projectiles from an A-Rank then each projectile is B-Rank. 4 would produce C-Rank level in strength. And 8 would produce D-Rank level in strength. Think of factors. No matter what they will always end up totaling back up to their original level in strength."nah I don't get it. Lets try another example.

"Exactly! Good way of thinking about it! This allows for a lot of good combinations and applications that can serve you in numerous ways. So, any questions?"You must be registered for see images
So it kinda is like this which is on the chart. It represents the Gallon (G), which would the the A rank projectile and the smaller sizes(other letters) (which would be the lower ranks)
"Good work. Now tell me what you think can be done with this technique. You don't have to create a long list. Just give one or two ideas on how you could use something like this."Here goes nothin
Satoshi held his arm out straight with his palm up and facing toward the forest. He would then release elemental doton chakra through his right palm. By doing so a ring of 5 head shaped rocks formed in thin air by the collection of chakra. After the rocks had been fully formed, Satoshi directed them to fly into the forest , which they did but in a spinning motion , similar to a shiriken .
I would most definitely use this jutsu as a projectile on enemies that I may hit. And also to add more damage to the rocks, I could add the fire element to them so I would turn the attack into a flaming ring which would take more to stop. This can also be used as a distraction."Good work. Now tell me what you think can be done with this technique. You don't have to create a long list. "Indeed! That's the basics to elemental combinations. You no longer have a D-Rank earth and a D-Rank fire jutsu. Instead you have a C-Rank Fire/Earth combination that interacts differently with other elements. I believe earlier in the training we spoke about how a fire/earth combination takes away a weakness of fire and that is that fire possesses no physical impact qualities for the most part depending on the technique used. This makes it so the earth inflicts blunt force damage while the fire burns. Alright, so do you have any questions?"I would most definitely use this jutsu as a projectile on enemies that I may hit. And also to add more damage to the rocks, I could add the fire element to them so I would turn the attack into a flaming ring which would take more to stop. This can also be used as a distraction.
Also I have a question. If I do add another element, what rank would it turn into ( with both attacks combined) ? Since this is a D rank if I Combined this with a D rank fire tech , would the overall new attack would be a C rank?
