You seem to think that what Maddie did was extremely noble and misjudged. Yet I have to say this: To make peace he brought about destruction. He killed countless, started a war and all of it for what? For a mere dream that he somehow thought would benefit everyone (I won't even comment on how "well" that turned out). He's just like any dictator there was out there, valuing his own sense of justice over the rest of the world.

He actually understood the world needs a loyal, and true Leader who will solve our problems. Can you be passive on thousands of deaths per day if you Had the power to change it? While corrupt local and regional leaders live peacefully, like In Konoha, while there are dozens of people like Nagato out here? You do not know war or deaths man. If you did, you would appreciate a fictional character knowing it too, and gave us readers a nice story about what does courage and greatness are. Madara stopped the cycle of hatred, the peace the ninja world is currently experiencing is the proof.

I am not going to stand here pretending I'm some retired war veteran. But like many other people, I had people in my family die so I do understand a bit about the grief. Still, a man stands up and goes on, doesn't start a world war because he can't take it anymore. Maddie simply did what one should always avoid: taking the easy route. Can you put yourself in the context, and tell me you wouldnt do what does God wants you to do in real life , if it was true, like Madara or even real Prophets? As I said, understanding the context is key. Also Madara did not start a world war bcs he couldnt "take it anymore" lol. People opposed him because of his decision to acquire The power he needed to accomplish the plan. The whole world finally allying against him is just a representation on how misguided it is. If People were dying everyday since ages and it didnt bother much, I do not see why an increase of number should be that revolting then. It shows again the lack of conscience and humanity people incounsciously have.

And what you said is around the line: "Since so many people were dying every day without anyone caring all that much why would more deaths bother anyone?". Let me ask you, do you think that because many people were dying every day across the globe, the deaths of all those jews and other nationalities during WW II shouldn't have bothered us?

And the difference between me and you is that I can tell when my fave did mistakes, and trust me he did plenty. You're just defending Maddie because he's your favorite. Killing everyone and imposing your twisted ideal onto the world is an unjustifiable act that can not be passed down as a noble deed.
