Orochimaru could surivive tsukuyomi
What a vast range of presented facts you have. Orochimaru does not have the mental fortitude to survive Tsukuyomi.
What makes you say that?
Kakashi and Sasuke were put into comas despite their above average sharingan prowess, and Itachi's holding back.
Orochimaru has no such doujutsu and Itachi would not hold back against him. Simple.

So, it's more of the potential potency of Tsukiyomi, rather than on Orochimaru's mental capacity.
You misunderstand. No one has the mental fortitude alone to survive, including Orochimaru. The lack of sharingan and lack of a crutch from Itachi are just icing on the cake.
Eh, you don't know this for sure.

I'm not saying Orochimaru can pierce Tsukiyomi and break out, but there really isn't really any proof that his mind is so weak that it'd kill him either. Incapacitate him, sure, but does Tsukiyomi even kill?If it were a legitimate fight to the death, Itachi would have no qualms killing Orochimaru if he's caught in the technique. There wouldn't be holding back like he did with Kakashi. Orochimaru doesn't have sharingan which would allow him a chance at withstanding the technique.
Necromancer4276 knows for sure. Lol There's enough evidence.
Can you really hold back when using Tsukuyomi though? I think Orochimaru can survive, he's been through worse.
Kakashi stated that if Itachi had wanted to, he could have easily killed him and that wasn't all of his power.
One can also adjust the time of the illusion. Both times for Sasuke, Itachi used 24 hours. The time during their fight wasn't even a hour amount. For Kakashi, it was 72.
