Why kishimoto not giving that much screen time to Sasuke in the movie?

Without that I imagine Hiruzen would have been able to settle things. Tobirama was the cause for distrust among the Uchiha and after the Nine Tails attack Danzo pushed Hiruzen to make a quick decision.

Actually they would have done something like that but from what I heard when the movie was in production in 2012 the directors were unaware of SasuSaku.Its not confirmed though but its plausible because Salada's movie design didnt leak and as they did not marry in the movie how is their kid the same age as Borito?It got off paneled because they were clueless Lol

Thus, Itachi wouldn't have been sent to kill the Uchiha clan because of the coup.

The Uchiha coup could have been stopped before the Nine Tails attack. There were only a few radical members due to Tobirama pushing them to the border of the village. Most of the Uchiha weren't interested in it. After the Nine Tails attack more people joined in because of the accusations being thrown at them.

Part 1 Sasuke was willing to give up his life for Sakura on more than one occassion. Sasuke still had the likes of Haku, Gaara, Lee, the sound four, etc, to motivate him to get stronger and of course, Itachi.
