Nah, Orochimaru and Kabuto's edo tensei are vastly superior to Gai's "Im gonna go emo and die technique".

Also, Hashirama could outlast Gai. But it would be a cool fight.

If we're counting Suicide tecnhiques, Deidara stomps all akatsuki Minus Nagato, Itachi, and Obito. When clearly, it's just a technique to kill himself in a better way.

So no, Gai is still in top 30.

Who said her 3rd eye needed to be opened? She could already fight with it open for all we now

What we do know is Guy needs to take the time to open the 8th Gate, which would definitely be longer than opening an eye

If his was about to do this kind of damage in his base form then of course he'd be top 5. But he is using a technique that pushed you past the limits and then you die. For all we know this boost in power could be 2-5 minutes at least. But it's temporary. Not a permanent power up so I wouldn't say top 5...

no its like saying deidara is top 5 because he kills the enemy and himself resulting in a draw. Were saying gate dont count because in a vs if both die its a draw and if you need to kill yourself to win(resulting in a draw) then i dont think you deserve to be in top 5

He still solos your fav It's a win not a draw. If he killed your fav, and it was an "Imaginary referee" then gai would win but die 2-5 minutes after. Which still means he killed your fav before he died. Now on the other hand, deidara, who kills himself before he dedonates would result in a draw if he would've killed your fav. Thats like if i was to kill someone in a brutal fight, but die 5 minutes after they were already dead. It still means i killed them/won.
