"Sensei..." Yamato informed Adachi somewhat sheepishly. "My apologies if I don't meet your standards. I am compensating with what little I know."

"No worries," his sensei responded with a shake of his head. "There is always room for improvement. Giving it your best is that I ask for." The ground rumbled moments as instead of a single, large pillar, many medium sized pillars carried sensei and student into the air, each packed in tightly with the other. Closing his eyes in concentration, Yamato flashed through the instructed handseals, causing water to begin leaking from within the pillars, crashing down with gravity as it slowly began gathering below. Adachi nodded in approval at the demonstration as his student wrapped up the technique with a burst of chakra, efficiently destroying the pillars beneath them.

Adachi landed with practiced ease upon the newly formed lake, waiting for the bits and pieces of the earth pillars to completely sink before he turned to Yamato. "As you have not yet learned the appropriate Earth technique for this," he began. "It may be weaker than normal, but there is essentially not that much of a difference. First, let us speak of the Earth technique itself and how it is beneficial in conjunction with this technique. Given that a pillar itself is already a defensive technique against most lower ranged and ranked jutsus, the fact that it also brings you up into the air also allows for a wider perception of the field. You can associate this concept with the likes of a bird's viewpoint - essentially, the higher you are, the more you can see and as always, it is important to keep an eye on your opponent." He paused briefly to walk backwards from Yamato, off the lake onto dry land as he motioned for his student to stay. "Now, let's move on to the waterfall aspect of this jutsu. Asides from creating a water source such as the one you are standing upon that could help your future jutsus, think of the wideness of the waterfall created. Upon a solid, long pillar, it would naturally flow over the edge and onto the ground below, however, take into account the width of the waterfall created and the fact that it would "hide" the section of the pillar it falls over. Due to that and that you still have control of the earth you are standing upon, you can potentially create an opening behind the waterfall to hide in or retreat to, a technique all the more useful if you are aware of the Mole technique that allows you to burrow into the earth you are standing upon. But asides from a water source and its defensive properties, this serves as more supplementary rather than the opposite."

Completing his explanation, Adachi reached within his pocket to pull out a single kunai. "Now, as you have already been taught Water Clone jutsu, I'd like you to put that into use right now. Create a single clone and then by further chakra manipulation, I'd like you to shape it into four medium sized shurikens in which you then aim straight for me. Keep in mind the distance between both of us and also where you target each of the separate attacks."

Description: After performing the required hand seals Boar β†’ Dog β†’ Ram the user creates a waterfall by developing spring water in a place without water veins and manipulating the resulting water current to form a wave. This is a very convenient technique as it can be used for training or relaxation. On the other hand, because it changes the environment on a large scale, it also has the effect of hiding one's location from the enemy by confusing them. The width of the water source, waterfall, and basin can be expended, as long as the user continues to send chakra in.

"Ah yes...quite informative there sensei. Greatly appreciated."

Yamato then channels his chakra throughout his body and with a precise manipulation of the water that was left over from the Waterfall Basin jutsu. He then creates an clone of himself comprised of water chakra. Though on the outside it seemed like himself, the clone could be used for other purposes to which Yamato already knew one. With the clone created, Yamato transformed the clone into 4 water projectiles in the form of what looked like bullets. Using precise movements with his hand, Yamato sends the 4 bullets towards a clone (unless you want it to be you, huehuehue) but controls them so that each goes a different way. One goes to one side of you, one to the other side, and the other two respectively go at a sideways angle above you. As they near you they seem to converge a bit like a claw, coming towards you with force. Yamato looks on with a blank stare as if he knew he forgot something. He looked over to Adachi and spoke nonchalantly.

"Okay so what would you like me to explain, sensei?"

Tobirama walked into the training grounds, a simple area with lakes and rivers, and the tallest of waterfalls all around. He sees a familiar face, and immediately smiles. "Oh, Yamato. Long time no talk. Anyways, let's get down to business, you have successfully learned the two jutsus Tenzo-Sensei taught you. Moving on, if you have any questions on this batch and the previous batch, feel free to ask.!"

Tobirama sets two training dummies on the training ground. "A decent water technique that requires no water source. There are two training dummies over there." He points his fingers at the direction of the training dummies. "Alright, for the first training dummy, practice some freeform punches and for the second one, practice some kicks. For the kicks, i want you to practice upward-based kicks that would hit the enemy into the stomach and would have enough force to push them up." Tobirama forms a single handseal and creates a shadow clone. "Once you're done, come here. You will combine what you practiced into one technique. Approach my clone and strike them with punches, freeform punches, anywhere you'd like like the head, stomach, chest, neck, aha. Just make sure to do it briefly and don't spend too much time punching. Afterwards, kick them up in the air by kicking the stomach area at an angle that would push them up meters in the air, and the suiton comes here. As they are rising up, channel water-based chakra to your palms and swing your palm at an arc, whichever arc you desire. As you do that, materialize a blade of water which you'd send out to strike the target mid-air. Perform it on my clone to make him disappear and then, tell me how you feel about the jutsu. You like it or not, and why?"

Description: The user will first strike their target with couple of punches and kicks them lifting the target into the air and the user will then concentrate their chakra into their palm and then swinging their arm in a arc they release chakra creating a cresent blade of water that strike the target.

"A basic technique where you create a pillar of water from underneath to push yourself up. Simple yet effective. I want you to channel chakra to your desired location, in this case, underneath you. Perform nature transformation to change the nature of your chakra into the properties of water. Once that is done, materialize water with the use of your water chakra underneath you. As it is created, perform shape manipulation to shape it into a pillar which abruptly pushes you upwards into the air. Go grab the pinata, you can have it if you successfully perform this technique in your first try! How would you incorporate this technique in battles? Any combinations you would think of using through this technique?" Tobirama sits on the ground waiting for Jugram to bring down the pinata.

The concept of it is simple as well; you basically create a projectile on your right arm, and punch the air while releasing the water, easy enough?" Tobirama pitched yet another training dummy in the training ground, 5 meters from the student. "Ah, we used so much training dummies... anyways, this technique is performed by channeling chakra on your right arm and performing nature transformation to change the nature of your chakra into the properties of water. You should be familiarized with water chakra by now. Anyways, once that is done, materialize water from your right arm and with shape manipulation, you'd be able to shape it into a bullet of water, with the size of your arm, or an average person's arm. Now, practice punching the air with your right hand, adding more force to it as you go. This technique requires you to punch the air, releasing the water blob you created on your arm, creating a projectile bullet that would be aimed towards the target. In this case, aim it towards the training dummy. Keep in mind its damage relies on the density of the water and the brute force it exerts. Having regained all his chakra back from a long vacation, Yamato listens to Nidaime-sama's lesson. After absorbing all the information, he clasped his hands together to gather chakra once more. Wanting to cut down on time, he focused a large amount of chakra and distributed it evenly into 2 shadow clones of his own.

Description: The Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and creates a real copy with form and substance. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones. Upon impact, the clone can be dispersed.



My first clone ran toward the the first dummy clone while closing his hands to form a fist. As he approached the clone he began throwing several punches to the middle of the clone's chest (beginning with the right hand) and then using a final punch to the stomach. My second clone then ran toward your 2nd clone, keeping a close watch on his distance as it would be crucial when kicking. Once at a desired distance, my clone then proceeds to perform a series of kicks in an upward fashion. He builds up on it so that his final kick sends him flying upwards towards the sky. I then follow suit by running towards your other clone then stopping briefly when at a close distance. I perform a couple of punches, making sure to hit the the face, shoulders, and stomach. Then I perform a couple of kicks and make sure the last kick propels the clone upwards and with great force. Whilst your clone travels upwards, I channel my chakra into my right hand and materialize a crescent blade of water. I launch it towards the flying clone in a handwave motion. I then look back at you and tell you that I the jutsu is decent at best but nothing I find intriguing. It seems handy though since your enemy is likely to be distracted already by the time you land your blow.

After your instructions on the technique, I go ahead and focus my attention to one of my clones. I channel my chakra throughout my body and once I have gathered a desired amount, I then focus it all underneath my clone. I materialize the chakra into a gushing pillar of water and condense it some more to make it strong enough to actually launch him in the air. He then falls to the ground after airborne and poofs. I then proceed to converse with your about the jutsu making sure to tell you that the technique is useful as a set-up for other techniques as launching you in the air with it and performing an attack from above either with myself or a jutsu such as that earth lid technique whatchamacallit. I also remind you that it would be cool to use a downwards sword technique on the soaring enemy/target.

I channel my chakra throughout my right arm as I make the ram handsign. I then release my chakra and materialize it into water that appears to gush around my arm as I pull it back. Upon reaching a desired point in the technique (making it dense), I then proceed to punch forward causing the water to shoot forward into a pseudo-bullet of water towards your clone. It then crashes on it and pushes it back. Afterwards I talk with you about the technique concerning advantages/disadvantages. I tell you that the advantages are if timed right you can strike your opponent at close range and push them back, creating an opening or to put some distance between you both. I then tell you that the disadvantages I see are its range (close range), the handsign to begin it, and the buildup time of the technique. Finally I tell you that it would be interesting to use this in battle with a genjutsu or ninja tools though exactly how I couldn't tell since I don't see myself using it often.

"This technique creates a moving body of water underneath you which you could use to travel. This is done by performing nature transformation on your chakra, transforming it into the properties of water. Once that is done, send it underneath you and around your feet. With the water chakra, you are able to materialize water out of no where. This technique relies on shape manipulation. You would shape the water stream around your feet, so that when it moves, you aren't pushed off. Manipulate the water with your chakra and have it travel towards the training dummies, at a slightly faster speed than you would on land." Tobiarma hands Deviation a katana, and explains the use of the katana for this technique. "Alright, now that you have the moving body of water concept out of the way, take this katana and travel to your target. Once you reach their area, attack them with the sword, slashing them from any angle or any area you desire. Make it quick because staying in close proximity against an opponent is always risky. Anyways, perform it on the training dummies to decapitate the training dummy, and slash through the wooden stomach.Give me disadvantages and thoughts on this technique, and why?" Tobirama stands back, examining the student's performance.

Channel chakra on your mouth and perform nature transformation to change it to transform the nature of your chakra into the nature of water. Once you do that, put a hand over your lips, and with the water chakra, release a stream of water from your mouth. As it is being released, motion your hand outwards to shape the a whip from the stream of water with the use of shape manipulation. We've learned something like this with a similar concept, but this just approaches it differently, so you should have no trouble performing it. Once you've performed shape manipulation, use hand motions to direct the whip towards the enemy, in this case, the training dummy. The power of this relies on the force it exerts upon contact, therefore, it should have enough power to deform the training dummy." Tobirama draws an "X" on the training dummies stomach with chalk, and instructs the student, "Lash the dummy in this area, deforming its shape and give me advantages, disadvantages, and how you would use it in battle offensively."

Manipulate the air and water molecules above you to condense water, or materialize water from thin air." As he spoke, Tobirama set up for the next technique by putting target boards five meters away from the student. "Then, perform shape manipulation to shape these into simple projectiles, resembling spheres of sorts. Have these projectiles hit the three target boards i created. To order them to move, a simple hand gesture by swinging your hand would suffice. Perform it, give me disadvantages, and how you would use this in battle! "

After another lesson, I channel my chakra below my feet as I begin to focus on making a small body of water below me. Simultaneously, like in training and other jutsus, I channel chakra to my feet to "anchor" themselves to the water so as not to throw me off once I were to ride it. With everything in place, and in a quick amount of time, I motion the water to propel me forward as I pay careful attention to my opponent and where I want to strike. As I reach a close proximity, I grip my katana that is in its sheath on my left hip. I then do a tilted slash from bottom left to top right on my target's torso and continue past him a bit to slash him in the back a couple of times and as I back away the jutsu cancels and I await my next directives.

Disadvantages I see are that as soon as your opponent can see/sense the water-like substance below you and see you coming, the first thing on their mind will be to counter with a lighting technique, leaving you at a great disadvantage. I don't know if the jutsu is slow enough to where you can counter with another sword to block the first strike. It might be unless you encounter a Hōzuki Clan member who can mesh with the water source like Suigetsu can. As far as liking it, it reminds me of Tobirama's surf technique though his might be more faster considering it is his area of expertise. It's useful but it requires tact otherwise it'll work against you in CQC.​

After my previous stint, I rush towards the next dummy and get in close proximity of his location. I then channel my chakra towards my mouth and as I change its nature to water, I bring my right hand to it and release a versatile water-like whip that I extend outwards with my hand. Using water to control its density and shape, I then perform a strong yet precise slash on the X mark on my opponent, sending them flying backwards. The strength of it is enough to warp the wood on the training dummy and hopefully causing it to poof.

I'm perplexed. Does this work in the same fashion as the water whip technique? Like can it bind and conduct lightning jutsu? If so then this would be the easier version since it seems there is no handseals so it could be faster and more effective than its counterpart. But then looking at the descriptions, this one is purely offensive while the other one can be used for supplementary purposes AND for attacking. Either way, they are only for short range so I would have to be careful how I use it otherwise it could be used against me with lightning jutsu or worse. As far as using it in battle...I would sneak it in a combo to further close the time gap and gain the advantage. Not sure what jutsu since I don't know that many.​

I begin to channel my chakra outwards and above me to form a cloud with enough moisture. Using that to my advantage, I then create dense, water spheres within the cloud, send them towards their targets one at a time, and shape the water droplets even more to make them stronk (pun xD). Also while propelling the water missiles, using my chakra and concentration to bend the trajectory of the missiles. Though they come in from all directions head-on, they all concentrate on one target. I repeat the results for each target that was created and I make sure to hit the marks you intended me to hit...at least I think so. I may have hit something else. >_>

As far as disadvantages, I would assume it requires you to concentrate on its execution meaning you can't do anything else during making you vulnerable especially from the back. Also if your opponent can block/evade/counter your move with a shield of sorts then you are screwed. I would assume that the cloud can also be seen clearly by your opponent, giving them ample time to counter. Unless I missed something? >_< As for using it in battle, it looks good to use once in a while to take advantage of a close enemy.​

To begin the battle, I channel my chakra and focus it behind you. It quickly forms in the shape of a fang that extends towards your back in hopes of striking you. Whether or not you get hit is of no consequence since it was meant to distract you not hurt you. As soon as the jutsu completes its purpose, I throw a flash bomb behind me creating a large concentration of light that is able to temporarily blind anyone who is caught in its gaze. With the two distractions into play, I take advantage of the time and summon a shadow clone. Wasting no time, my shadow clone creates a spiralling whirlpool underneath you in hopes of pulling you into the water and either killing or gravely injuring you. As that is taking place I run towards you with a kunai and pay close attention to my surroundings especially sounds. My run towards you should somewhat distract you as well from my clone who is making the whirlpool but my master scheme is barely taking root.

As he is about to land, the water began spiraling in one direction. He drops to the water, which was already spinning. In response, he weaves a single hand seal and creates a wall of spiraling water, which spun at the opposite direction as the whirlpool. He blasts it towards the whirlpool, which should naturally neutralize its spinning motion. Lastly, Tobirama throws a shuriken encased in wind chakra towards the moving target, which would obviously strengthen it more than a regular projectile.

As I begin to run towards you, your first two counters take place at which time you throw your chakra-infused kunai towards me (considering I am the only "real" moving target (inside joke *badum tss*)). As the sound of the kunai comes close, upon instinct I quickly transform myself using water-type chakra into water though I should still retain my shape. As the kunai passes through me and hits the water, my clone picks up on it and prepares a counter-measure. He makes 6 handseals as he gathers his chakra towards his mouth and makes a ring with his thumb and index finger. He inhales deeply and as he exhales he releases the chakra into a several small fireballs that travel towards your location. By the time he is finished with the handseals and the sound of fire behind him, I will have transformed back into my regular body and using a similar technique I just saw, I am thrust into the air high enough to avoid the fireballs and as I descend behind the attack, I then throw several shuriken towards you which will hopefully be masked by the fireballs coming your way.

Hahaha!

*Not sure if you are allowed to use water replacement like that especially when it involves energy infused tools.

The fire ball can present itself in 2 forms: it can either be created by a stream of fire and sustained as a gigantic ball of flames in front of the user spanning up to short range or be released as a slightly smaller ball of fire which will travel towards the enemy up to mid range.


I have little options on the terrain we are in considering I only know up to C-Rank in most. I ain't lightning unless its in the air so fire is a good choice. Wind may have been better but well that's another story. ( '-') The fireballs was a good diversionary tactic in my opinion since there are many to contend with.

Took a page from your book and being high in the air would allow the fireball to pass through without hurting me (I think) and I could then use that diversion to throw another attack (shuriken) to hide behind the previous attack creating a double attack.

Seeing the gunshot of water approach me quickly and taking into consideration that your vision of me was blocked, I had no other choice than to take advantage of the massive water source we were in. I channeled my chakra throughout my body and released it on myself to allow me to propel into the water, partially masking my presence. As the water approached my clone, followed by the lightning, he took the hit so as to give you the impression that I actually got hit. By the time all the jutsu had dissipated, me and the clone were gone. Once I make my way towards you underwater, I make three quick handseals, and in my hand create a sturdy chakra-infused, water whip. Using my chakra, I manipulate it to rise just above your ankles (hopefully without you noticing) and grab them tightly. I pull you down into the water as I motion the whip down to me. As soon as we face each other, I pull out a kunai stealthily out of my pocket, and proceed to stab you in the stomach, hoping you don't stop me in the slightest.

Since we are on a body of water, it seemed logical to use a similar technique to "hiding like a mole". For the record, if I had more available jutsu to use I would have used a head-on one to counter both jutsu and keep my ground. Anyways, it seemed a good idea to finally use my clone to take a hit for me. I also remembered that your line of vision was compromised when you shot that big gunshot followed by the lightning spear.

There's not much you can do whilst underwater unless you possess various cj designed for underwater combat. The water whip seemed a good choice since I wanted to go for a subtle move. Using a page from Tobirama's book, it is best to strike at the moment your opponent think he's won. Huehuehue. :>

"Well sensei, you pretty much showed me how to use it in our battle so just going to use that as an example."

I stand tall, close my eyes, and take a deep breath, causing me to relax. I begin to feel my chakra throughout my body as I begin with making the Boar β†’ Dog β†’ Ram handsigns. I concentrate it towards the palm of my right hand. I transform the chakra to take on the properties of water as it begins to seep out. Quickly using my skill in shape manipulation, I bend the water to shape it into a vortex of water. I increase the flow of chakra to increase the amount of water coming out and the force of it. The vortex pushes forward and expands, creating a sort of shield in front of me. As the fire approaches me, the water vortex clashes against it, neutralizing the flames that it has come in contact with. As soon as everything is done with, I put my hand down, pat myself to let loose some dust to show that it had been a piece of cake.

As I began doing the handseals and channeling chakra I kept messing up. This had been the first time I had actually had to really focus on a jutsu. Simultaneously doing so many handseals AND channeling a precise amount of chakra was not an easy task. After several tries I finally got it. I performed the Ox β†’ Monkey β†’ Hare β†’ Rat β†’ Boar β†’ Bird β†’ Ox β†’ Horse β†’ Bird β†’ Rat β†’ Tiger β†’ Dog β†’ Tiger β†’ Snake β†’ Ox β†’ Ram β†’ Snake β†’ Boar β†’ Ram β†’ Rat β†’ Yang Water β†’ Monkey β†’ Bird β†’ Dragon β†’ Bird β†’ Ox β†’ Horse β†’ Ram β†’ Tiger β†’ Snake β†’ Rat β†’ Monkey β†’ Hare β†’ Boar β†’ Dragon β†’ Ram β†’ Rat β†’ Ox β†’ Monkey β†’ Bird β†’ Yang Water β†’ Rat β†’ Boar β†’ Bird handseals and with the chakra I had channeled, I directed it towards the water below us. Using a mix of shape manipulation and some nature transformation, I created a pressurized stream of dense water, compressing it more as it emerged from the water. I created it to look like a scary looking dragon, like the one you see in movies or in your toilet. I then direct the large dragon towards the tree and wait for it to strike down the tree.

"So...advantages...ehm...wow not really sure what to say other than the pressurized water coupled with its density can be really deadly. This is the same one Kakashi and Zabuza used right? That was one epic battle but in my opinion it is almost a two-edged sword. It is logical to think that the technique needs to be maintained in order to fully utilize it otherwise it'll just fall apart. Does this not make it likely to get put the user in a precarious circumstance? Though is is a dragon it isn't necessarily a large jutsu in terms of defending large scale techniques. This seems more like a focused technique you would use against something specific instead of spread out like a wall.I wonder if it is at all possible to power it up with a wind technique since lightning would be a little too cliche."

Performance: I channel my chakra as I perform the tiger handseal. I release the chakra and manipulate it so it looks like a water orb. I then create 30 dense whips to come out of it and send towards your clones, impaling them.

Advantages/Disadvantages: It has a long range use and can hit multiple enemies. It's drawback is it takes a while to perform.

Usage in Battle: I would use it to hit multiple enemies/clones.



Performance: I channel my chakra as I perform the tiger handseal. I release the chakra from my mouth and manipulate it so it takes the shape of a giant sphere of water and give it a spinning motion. I shoot at the tree. Then I repeat the same process but instead of making one sphere, I make several and shoot them at a clone.

Advantages/Disadvantages: The range is the same as the previous jutsu but I assume the long range use is for the bullets only. So...close range = stronger impact unlike bullets = weak impact.

Usage in Battle: I would use it to hit someone up close or distract an enemy.

Manipulate the snake to arc downwards and aimed towards me, which should "eat" me. The snake would disperse after eating you, turning into a river of water that would pull me along towards the direction the target is. Perform it, give me advantages, disadvantages, and because this is a supplementary-based technique, how would you use it to aid you in battle or set up combinations?"

This snake can twist and follow its targets and swallow them. After it has swallowed them, it turns into a river that carries the enemy away.
