According to Hagoromo, Sasuke is the transmigrant of his son, Indra.
In Hindu mythology, Indra is the god of thunderstorms, he gained the title of 'king of Devas(gods)' after he defeated Virtra -a dragon who robbed the world of water- using his greatest weapon Vajra (a bow and thunderbolt).
At first the association between Sasuke and the Hindu god is not clear, however in chapter 697 we get a direct reference when Sasuke names his lighting arrow "Indra's Arrow".
We all know Kishimoto's excessive use of symbolism in Naruto, and in chapter 699 we yet again see a subtle Hindu reference, and it is again coming from Sasuke.
At the end of the chapter we see Sasuke finally acknowledge Sakura using Itachi's signature move the "forehead poke". However this specific poke holds additional meaning that foretells their future.
In a Hindu marriage, it is a tradition for the groom to apply sindoor on the bride's forehead, marking her and signifying that she is a married woman.
Conveniently, Sakura's byakugou seal helps to make it look like Sasuke is applying sindoor on her forehead. In chapter 700 we get confirmation that they indeed got married.
