[Discussion] Did those 2 kages forget that Naruto was the hero of the war?

I'm pretty sure this was commented upon, but that small kage quarrel at the end seemed really stupid in light of the situation... I mean... You do not criticize the main hero of the war for being late... You do not criticize the same person who had saved your life. Furthermore, you do not criticize the person who had saved EVERYONE's lives. Unless Naruto had dirtied his reputation very badly between those 10 years, the kage's attitudes are just ridiculous.

I think you mean Gokage hehehe. And sure they've got respect and admiration for Naruto for all that he's done (but he didn't do it alone, don't forget), but it's always important to respect time. The Gokage have various things to attend to after all.

It's not a big deal... Fact is, Naruto was the host and he was late. It's not that they're ungrateful to Naruto. Just because Naruto saved the world doesn't mean that he should be exempt from any type of criticism. You can criticize someone for being late (a very trivial matter IMO) while still being grateful to him.

They are probably really close friends and friends act like that to each other all the time. Naruto is changing the system so he obviously has good relationships with them all.

They travel thousands of miles to his village and hes the one who is late. They are all busy and have things to do in their own village, probably families of their own too (I wonder if Gaara has children). The world does not stop when Narutos son is acting up. There are still rogue ninja out in the world, dangerous people from other countries (not the great 5) etc.

They are all busy and have things to do in their own village, probably families of their own too (I wonder if Gaara has children). The world does not stop when Narutos son is acting up. There are still rogue ninja out in the world, dangerous people from other countries (not the great 5) etc.

and what's worse is when you think about it, naruto a ninja notorious for using shadow clone jutsu... can't have a heart warming talk with his son and be on time to a meeting at the same time

It wasn't really wrong of them. And Naruto didn't seem to care much. Though it was odd seeing Chojuro be a jerk lol.

They are most likely all good friends,seems naruto may have gotten kakashi's habit of being late ^_^

I agree with this. I think Naruto might be paying homage to Kakashi paying homage to Obito.

Also things change over time. People dont always go "wow look its the hero". Over time as new generations come, peoples memories fade. The thing you did yesterday, will not be as important or relevant 10 years later.

Hero or not, being late to a important meeting in your own village, is not good.

It was just comic relief dude, made to parallel Kakashi's lack of punctuality lols. Gaara and Darui didn't seem to mind.

All I know that little quarrels like those seems better than the previous Kage Summit. Realistically, it isn't good to be late. But then again, Naruto was apparently appointed recently, so it's unlikely going to continue like that.
