Base Gai VS Base Madara in a Taijutsu fight

In the episode 322 we see that Madara had a excellent Taijutsu.

Do you believe he could deal with Gai in base form in a Taijutsu fight?

Madara would lose even with his scythe when Gai has those nunchucks. If I recall correctly he was busting boulders with them. He swings them with too much power and ferocity.

Gai definitely wins the scenario without weapons. Although with weapons, Madara might win. Mainly because he can actually create barriers with his Gunbai unless I'm mistaken.

Madara wins both scenes... I mean considering Kakashi have beat Gai multiple times it's obvious that Gai isn't much superior to him in cqc... Madara can still use his EMS pre-cog which could track someone like Juubito and he easily shits on Gai in cqc...

Kakashi and Gai never fought to the death with intent to kill though. Gai can punch a man through a wall, and break boulders with his elbows. I'd be surprised if Madara could take a combo from him without injuries.

I wouldn't say no damage. It wasn't a direct hit. Could have broken his shoulder bone or two but he was edo but because of the nature of how it happened we're unable to confirm that so I'll give you that point.

Wait what? How is Gai winning? Madara nearly blitzed SM Naruto while blind, Gai can't do that until the 7th Gate. Gai is better in the art of Taijutsu and strength, but the gap between Madara and base Gai in speed is pretty massive. Madara simply blitzes him. He wins both scenarios. Not to mention Gai wouldn't land a hit.

Not really seeing as Edo's take the direct durability of there normal bodies third Raikage is a prime example... The fact that he can even react to v2 Raikage means any and all of base Gai's attacks are countered with ease...

Well like I said, the way he got hit and fell hid its nature from us so we don't know if his shoulder was in pain, fractured, broken, etc and being Edo would have healed it anyway so we never saw anything. I'm not ruling it completely out but I'll still give you that point since I can't prove it did hurt him.

Blitzing SM Naruto has nothing to do with his skill in taijutsu. His shunshin was a short burst of speed, Gai has high foot speed and can keep moving at his pace, not just 1 burst then stop.

Gai loses what are you still debating this for? I've explained Madara's durability and speed and EMS ability to track someone's on Juubito's level of speed...

EMS Sasuke was only able to track juubito after receiving naruto/ashura cloak while naruto was able because of BSM, V1 juubito neged EMS Sasuke with ease.
