Eight gates an A rank tech???

I looked at naruto wiki and noticed the eight gates and the evening elephant classified as A rank techs. I just thought they would be better than that. Even the rasengan and chidori are A rank, so I think there's a mistake to that, or there should be at least. I don't really know how a jutsu is ranked, but the the eight gates should be above that.

Lee didnt spend his whole life trying to master gates. He as a genin like Sasuke and Naruto learned an A-rank tech.

With this then EIG should be much higher still as it is very rare and difficult to unlock the gates.. even kakashi could only open 1 or 2.. and Rock lee was considered a genius for even being able to open 5

We don't know how long it took Kakashi to develop Chidori, it wouldn't have been long and besides both Sasuke and Kakashi are very naturally talented and touted as geniuses.

Dai and Lee were talentless. They've had to work many times more arduously to accomplish what they have so no, it's not stupid.

A genius of hard work, not a natural genius. It's highly unlikely that Kakashi ever wanted to open a great deal of gates because that's not his style. Having said that, what we've witnessed and what actually is are two different things.

The rankings have always made perfect sense.

The evening elephant is a series of taijustu moves only someone who has mastered taijustu could ever perform an A rank taijustu move.

On top of that that can only be done once you unlock all eight gates which is in itself a A rank
And it can't be S rank in a sense because once you can open the gates there is no way of one being able to open all eight gates better than another person at that point it all depends on how much power one person has overall.

The data book does not use a-b-c logic
Not too mention anyone who can master taijustu or ninjustu don't go on to master the other its a completely different practice so its not like someone like naruto who can perform A and S rank justu can perform the eight gates or evening elephant.

The reasons they fall under their each respective ranks is for completely different reasons.

Which is why he can open the gates

Kakashi is an all around great ninja which is why he can also open the gates but he can't go further because he doesn't practice taijustu.

There is nothing about DEATH you can master unless you can use eight gates without dying.
The power of the eight gates comes from within so if you have trained long enough it becomes more powerful

taijustu isn't the same as ninjustu
someone who doesnt' train in ninjustu can't and wont be able to use A rank movies in taijustu
