Otsuuki doesn't seem that much of character if he just appears in the movie though.

But in all seriousness, this is about saving the world to prevent from the moon crashing to the earth, in other word this is a mixture of Majoras mask plot and romance, nothing wrong about it, especially we'll learn more about ootsutki and Hyuga origin and to make up all this loose ending

If i don't watch everyone would hate me and plus I'm interested in seeing a female character actually go into action.

It's a romance movie, so it's going to include romance and unlike all the other movies that has produced it's actually canon. It's kind of like a secret story or hidden story that has never been told. Let's not forget, that the movie does have other plots and like someone else said will give us more information on the clans like the Hyuga and such.


I'm willing to bet if SasuSaku was the focus of the movie then you would have no problem with it being "pointless".

Anyways, I never really cared too much about the pairings in this series. I'll probably watch the movie just to see what Toneri does and get closure for Naruto.
