both are swordsmen and clearly as far as sword skills go mihawk is superior to fujitora since he is officially labeled the best in the world but as far as who would win in the fight and pure power who would win? We did see that fujitora seemed concerned/wary of zoros long distance sword attacks so this might make mihawk and even greater threat (assuming zoro still hasn't quite caught up to mihawk).

Furthermore I have no doubt mihawk can tank the meteor.

I really have no clue how to decide though, dare I say we've seen about as much of mihawk as we have fujitora but its still hard to decide. I want to hear opinions and maybe I can come up with my own analysis from everyones opinions.

(by the way sorry if this needs to be in the vs threads I couldn't remember

Fujitora wasn't really concerned. It was a good feat. for Zoro though. Anyways, Mihawk would win against Fujitora high-diff. The distance that Fujitora was pushed away was over-exaggerated in the anime I believe. It wasn't that far in the manga.

The part where you said that we know Mihawk wins a fight due to having his title, and then asked about power.

In all out fight, Mihawk wins. Mihawk wins any fight against any current swordsman by default.
no what I meant was he is a superior swordsman, not a superior combatant over all, sorry about that. And do you mean he wins by default simply because Fuji is a swordsman so if he beat mihawk, even if with his df abilities, then he would be considered a better swordsman?

No he wouldn't. DF abilities and all, Fujitora is still a swordsman. It's not that Mihawk's skills in swordsmanship is superior to Fujitora's, but inferior to Fujitora's AND his DF combined, but that Mihawk's overall combat ability is better than Fujitora's, and every other swordsman.

Mihawks wins no doubt. Its not even up for debate. Him being WSS automatically puts him above Fujitora who is also a swordsman as well as an admiral.

Umm no Lol Fuji isn't primarily a swordman, he uses his DF calling down meteors more than he use his sword (assuming his sword isn't the one that ate the df)...That like saying a hypothetical world strongest boxer is better than someone who is a boxer but also a black belt in karate and knows mix martial arts. It's possible but calling Mihawk stronger just because he is recognized with a title as the strongest in area that only counts towards less than half of Fuju's fighting style is just a weak argument.

All in all I do believe that Mihawk could beat Fuji though but this is purely based off of what we've seen from them both and taking in account that mihawk's "sword skills" are better than Fuji's and the fact that Mihawk had duels with shanks (tho we don't know the circumstances)

He uses his powers through a sword, that makes him a swordsman. By this logic, someone who imbues Haki or uses Haki through their sword isn't a primary swordsman either. It doesn't matter that Fuji uses gravity and brings down meteors, he does it with a sword, it's his primary tool, therefore, he's a swordsman.
