It was too short
It seems doflamingo will beat law, then we'll the other battles, then luffy will come to beat doffy.
From that zoro and pica panel it felt like zoro is losing

3/5 chapter for me. Wish Oda focused more on the Law/Luffy fight with Doffy, personally, but he does have to show the others.

Glad it's confirmed Law can use Buoshoku: Koka and he got a feat this chapter(cutting Doffy despite his Koka being active. Gonna be nice to use in vs threads) and wounding Doffy with Injection Shot. Looking forward to more of this fight.

I don't remember seeing Doflamingo putting Koka around his torso, all I saw him put Koka on was his arm.

Also, this chapter pretty much confirmed that Lao G is the strongest regular Executive.

He put Koka on his hand to grab Law's blade, and blood was dripping from his palm.

Eh, this chapter felt more like a live report. I wonder what Injection Shot's effect is.

I know that Law isn't going to single handedly beat Doffy but I would very much want him to. Actually it is kind of annoying that he most probably won't.

How dafuq can Lao G give such a hard time to Chinjao(someone who gave Luffy trouble), even kicking him away?

On a side note, Law should be the main protagonist at this point. Even Luffy doesn't even get proper screentime and feats.

Liked how everything was summarized since it was all a bit confusing with everything going on. And Law was just awesome I would prefer seeing him beat Doflamingo by himself but doubt that would happen.

Didn't this chapter just confirm Law has better Koka than Luffy since Luffy's can't defend against sharp objects but Law could? Defended against Doffy's sharp object at that, while Hody's went through Luffy's.

I have a feeling that it'll be Luffy that puts an end to Joker.

Eh, the chapter was okay. It was mostly a review of what was going on throughout the island which I found kind of boring... we've already had like 2 of those now. the only new thing that we really got from this chapter was the name Hyaku.

I'll give it a 3/5, nothing really interesting. The fight was good.

It means that Laws CoA has been honed more towards defending against slicing/piercing attacks, which makes sense since his main target has been Mingo all his life. We're not sure how well he defends against blunt attacks.

Basically the opposite of Luffy, who sux against slicing/piercing attacks.

Would bring in full circle when Law saved Jean Bart and told him to give Luffy some of the credit.
This is not the problem. The problem is that Luffy's portrayal since the timeskip seems just too bad compared to Law. The strongest opponent he defeated is now getting wrecked by Lao G who isn't even seat level and it seems even the Doffy he is supposed to beat by the end of the arc will be heavily injured or something. When will he have a full fight against a strong opponent for once? On the other side, Law defeated a seat in one slash(Vergo), clashed with an admiral and Doffy and will do the major job against Doffy while injured. What type of portrayal is this?

It might been short but it was quite a revealing chapter. That said, i dont think Oda HAD to introduce to us every executive, the panels could've been just fighting....thats just me haha :)

I loved how Law is badmouthing and testing Doflamingo with mentioning "D" over and over again. And Doflamingo reacting like a child, "so what, that natural enemy stuff is bullshit" hahahaha. Doflamingo you are going down mate!!

It was interesting to see Law's boushoku haki is comparable to Doffy's ;)

Question

Theories on who Hyaku is?

My wishes

I want Law to take down Doflamingo on his own to get revenge for Corason but it wont happen. Just because Luffy is the main protagonist doesn't mean he should ALWAYS take down the main villain :'(

Pretty damn good one IMO. This is one of Oda's strengths, the spotlight doesn't always go to the main character, other characters get it too which causes the reader to become more involved with them; due to the fact that we're used to Luffy getting the main spotlight(Every arc but Marineford), it's not really that bad that we get one or two arcs where someone else shines a little brighter because the story will always be on Luffy and eventually, Law is gonna go back to being off-screen, at which point Luffy will be able to shine again by being stronger. There's nothing wrong with Luffy coming in second place every now and again.

Really liked this one *_*
We finally have visual confirmation of Law's CoA and That Injection Shot! *_*
I would also like to see Law take Doffy down himself (wishful thinking :p ) but he is probably gonna get beaten
So Luffy will step in to kick a wounded Doflamingo's a** *_*

Theories on who Hyaku is?
I was wondering about that too..maybe someone Law met after he left that island who knew about the D ?

"That chapter was short" - was what I was thinking when it ended.

Highlights of the chapter

  1. Doffy's hand got slashed inspite of haki - but I am wondering why did it cut normally?why wasn't law using his ability? or was the ability blocked completely by Haki?
  2. Law tanked a massive attack from doffy without haki (I think the attack was similar to what sanji tanked.)
  3. Dellinger is a freaking Merman and a fighting fish type no less LOL!
  4. Also it would seem Trebol is the staff officer and Pica is the tallest officer (does'nt makes sense but I guess pica has the highest authority. Need to wait for ***********)
  5. It seems Zoro, Barto, and toy soldier are having an upperhand on their opponents.
  6. Apparently Sabo is searching for something.
  7. What I find interesting though is trebol and his reaction to the fact that law is a D. I might be wrong but it seems there is more to that guy than meets the eye.
And a million dollar question,

WHY THE HELL IS CHINJAO GETTING PUNKED BY LAO-G?
