"That chapter was short" - was what I was thinking when it ended.

Highlights of the chapter

  1. Doffy's hand got slashed inspite of haki - but I am wondering why did it cut normally?why wasn't law using his ability? or was the ability blocked completely by Haki?
  2. Law tanked a massive attack from doffy without haki (I think the attack was similar to what sanji tanked.)
  3. Dellinger is a freaking Merman and a fighting fish type no less LOL!
  4. Also it would seem Trebol is the staff officer and Pica is the tallest officer (does'nt makes sense but I guess pica has the highest authority. Need to wait for ***********)
  5. It seems Zoro, Barto, and toy soldier are having an upperhand on their opponents.
  6. Apparently Sabo is searching for something.
  7. What I find interesting though is trebol and his reaction to the fact that law is a D. I might be wrong but it seems there is more to that guy than meets the eye.
And a million dollar question,

WHY THE HELL IS CHINJAO GETTING PUNKED BY LAO-G?
Law did use Haki to block it.

And it's because you guys are putting Chinjao higher than he should be. He's out of his prime.

the amount of law fanboys this week is going to be too damn high

what confuses me is miingo`s bleed he was able to negate the df power but he couldnt defend him self against the actual physical slash ?
did law use haki or it just that haki is weak against sharp thing cause if it`s the later one then zoro vs vergo is out of debate for me

Also that would put luffy at a horrible disadvantage against someone like shanks or mihawk.

I choose to believe that doflamingo was a little late in activating his haki which caused that wound. And law was not planning to use his ability.

well law used shambles to attack him from behind ( attacking from behind is a shamless act among swordsmen - shame on you law U_U) so it make sense

Okay i did some more research on who Hyaku could be but first:

I actually chuckled a bit here, Law is so amazing he can make even stones take a deep breath

Now onto business.

"Kaido of the Beasts" (百獣のカイドウ Hyakujū no Kaidō?)

Apparently it is a reference to Kaido. So it seems he possesses knowledge regarding the tenryuubito and the D's.

Lol How I missed that one :|
You probably would of noticed it if this was on *********** because mangapanda/reader is pretty bad.

OT: 5/5 chapter, I was loving the Doflamingo vs Law fight even though it was short but I'm sure we'll probably get a full chapter focused on their fight once all the other fights are over. I wished they expanded on the scene of the first page in last week's chapter, right before Doffy was going to kill his father.

Yea loved the chap since the filler we need a recap, but I'm realizing Law is not trying to beat Doffy but wear him down for the Beast King, Law just wants to free Dressrosa for Corosan but wants Doffy to be humiliated in every since then be killed by Kido the person he somewhat has been living for to complete his own unknown objectives whatever they may be, kind of reminds me of Bellamy

This is not the problem. The problem is that Luffy's portrayal since the timeskip seems just too bad compared to Law. The strongest opponent he defeated is now getting wrecked by Lao G who isn't even seat level and it seems even the Doffy he is supposed to beat by the end of the arc will be heavily injured or something. When will he have a full fight against a strong opponent for once? On the other side, Law defeated a seat in one slash(Vergo), clashed with an admiral and Doffy and will do the major job against Doffy while injured. What type of portrayal is this?
And on top of that, Chinjao this time has his drill head too.
I have a feeling that Luffy will be making a comeback settling the powerlevels, because by current portrayal, it seems that it would go to High diff for him if he were to fight even seat holder/opponent of that level(which law did and some others are gonna do).
For the seat stuff. In vergo's case, I'd say that it Was difficult for law to put him down since he had to use probably the largest slash he could. So in a sense, it wasn't really easy for law since he had to use a very strong move. It's the same as if luffy decides to go elephant gattling on vergo/pica from the very start and defeat them then and there. We would say Luffy just defeated a seat in one move yes, but the technique used also needs to be considered.
Though him fighting while being injured, that surely gives him a better portrayal than luffy.
