And if the enemy's power was to absorb chakra and use it for their own then why didnt naruto let him suck his sage power and made the enemy into a stone frog like in pain arc. Let me ask you this question. Many people believed Naruto still had feelings for Sakura. Would it be reasonable to believe he lost it all after two years? Would you not want to see for yourself on why or how he chose Hinata over Sakura?

I would.Except it should have been done in the manga.When it happens in the movie it doesnt send a good mesage.Its more like its being forced to happen but thats just me
