Quincies are not of Same Ancestry it has two different Bloodline :

Echt (Pure Blooded Quincy ) - Masaki , Ichigo , Ryuuken and his Parents

Gemischt (Mixed Breed) - Katagiri , Uryuu Ishida

Now Question arises is Who are these Sternritters belonging to ? There ability are different from Masaki and Ryuuken who are more Traditional Quincy .

Another thing Kubo never Explained when Yhwach performed Auswählen ,Kanae Katagiri died ,Masaki's Powers lost due to the Holy selection of bringing back the Sealed King . Uryuu was the Sole survival of the Gemischt breed according to Yhwach

So my Question is why didn't Ichigo die when Yhwach Performed Aushwahlen since according to the Manga nothing was stated he survived the selection.

Well, both Kanae and Masaki survived Aushwalen as well. Tho, Masaki lost her powers during battle against Fisher, so she was killed and Kanae got weak and died latet. Both of them survived, we don't know what Masaki's fate would be if she didn't fough Fisher.

As Nodt was also showed in hospital. We don't know why was he there. He could pretty much be there for the same reason why Kanae was.

Either way point is that.. there is possibility that Uryuu is not special because he survived Aushwalen (there are possible others survivors as well), but he is special, because he didn't lose his powers after Aushwalen.

Kubo used German motif when creating major of Quincies, Just like he used Spain with Hollows/Arrancars.

So the Effect of Auswählen is that they lose their Quincy power like Masaki and Katagiri . Since Katagiri was already ill in the Past she died immediately.

The case of Uryu and Ichigo is rather strange .

They survived and did not lose their Powers no wonder Yhwach wanted to bring ichigo back with him but since he used Blut vene which was stronger than Yhwach and burned his hands .

He didn't get Ichigo so he went for Uryu Ishida to invite him in Wandenreich and blackmailed him to Participate in the war .
