and since naruto doesn't open his eyes he still can't sense shurikens and other ninja tools thrown at him since they don't have chakra for naruto to sense so it's either eyes or steel.

the real point is that the average uzumaki does not have sage mode thus can't fight with eyes closed and so the uchiha are better than them.

His own mother lost Kurama during child-birth but still had enough to keep going on, while Naruto fainted right after losing Kurama.
