I always thought of the idea of madara having the rinnegan was stupid.
The Sharingan was perfect the way it was and it defined sasuke and all the uchiha's.

Sharingan powers were nearly limitless with overkill moves like susanno and izanami/gi
wtf did madara need rinnegan for in the manga ?
The moons eye plan should have just required a EMS eye.

Nagato was the 1st person we meet with Rinnegan and he was the strongest and one of the most important
enemies for naruto and nagato was a uzumaki.

The setup was perfect ,yahiko had the rinnegan projected on to him ,who also looked similar to naruto,we also find out how useful and powerful the uzumaki clan was.
Down the road yet again we get hints on how naruto was the So6p reincarnation and that should have been the deal breaker for naruto with a rinnegan.

The uzumaki clan is still a mystery to this day and just disappeared from history ,Kishi should have showed that every few generations there is a Rinnegan user born into the clan and that's why they got slaughtered by the uchiha clan and senju clan from fear.

I would have loved to see naruto realise his clan were wiped out by the uchiha/senju clan.
So making naruto saving and forgiving the world would be soo much more better/emotional.

He truly would have been the "Gutsy Ninja" from jiraiya's book.

There is no point, I'm simply saying that Rinnegan should have been a uzumaki trait and also laid down a story if it was a uzumaki trait.

Senju have powerful bodies.

The Uzumaki Clan are known for their incredible life force, nothing more. And an Uzumaki would actually have to touch the Uchiha to stop them and unless they have exceptional speed, I don't see them touching someone who can predict movements.

I almost completely concur with this thread, even though I enjoyed 4th SW and further arcs to an extent, I think we can all concur on the fact that the entire storyline washed out and started spiraling down a bit after the PAIN arc. I will still watch/read and enjoy pt3 ofc.

Naruto as an uzumaki proved himself by becoming ashura's rinnecration therefore uzumaki=uchiha , even nagato who's uzumaki and not the orginal eye owner mastered the rinngan completely , he even used some techniques that even the original owner like madara didn't use (shira tensi and bansho tense)

lol look how much did the rinnegan ****ed up nagato on top of all that nagato was never able to use all six paths in one body unlike madara (edo doesn't count since they don't feel pain or have chakra so he was able to do that) and also he wasn't able to use limbo hell even sasuke who had the rinnegan for around an hour did 9 CT and each one of them are better than the one he used against an eight tailed kyuubi.
