7th gated gai is faster and more reflexive than V2 ei based on what he pulled on juubidara, he has the offense to take out V3 susanoo (the one with the bow and arrow), and his fighting style + speed means genjutsu is moot.

I don't see how people can argue against Gai winning this unless Sasuke uses izanagi.

-In CQC, he got shat on by Killer B's unorthodox Kenjutsu, which is partly due to his inability to actually avoid it to begin with, Itachi was faster, thus he was able to escape. At the Summit, we already got confirmation that Sasuke can't physically react to Ay, 7G Gai is on that speed level, most likely above, except his speed is more than one burst, he can continuously move at his top speed. Sasuke gets obliterated in CQC. 6G Gai blitzed Kisame with no reaction IIRC, 7G is much faster.

-Mid-Long Range? He stands no chance. Gai can evade his Susanoo arrows with ease, along with Amaterasu. Pretty much Sasuke's only (relevant) mid to long ranged jutsu. Susanoo gets blown open by Hirudora, considering Madara's superior V3 Susanoo got obliterated by it.

If Gai starts in the 7G, I can safely say that he stomps.

Gai has no linear fighting style. A guy who was stated to have "inhuman movements" clearly doesn't have a linear fighting style. Amaterasu is avoided, Sasuke can't even track him let alone land Genjutsu on him, Susanoo arrows are avoided, Enton is fodder, its avoided as well...or as a response to all those projectiles, he shoots a Hirudora right in his face and kills him.

Are you dense? If there is enough wind, it will blow away the fire. FRS would go right through a basic fireball despite having elemental inferirority, simply because its on a much larger scale. You serious gotta touch up on some fundemental science if you don't know that. Blitz is being able to move so fast your opponent can't react, Sasuke did NOT react. He was facing the complete opposite way, he coated his Susanoo in Enton PRIOR to Ei's attack, so Ei couldn't attack.

Close combat means Sasuke is dead meat. Precognition doesn't save him whether it's linear or not.

Genjutsu is avoided due to his fighting style.

Amatarasu isn't a factor.

Ei's fighting style is incomparably more linear than Gai's, and he easily dodged Amaterasu. Gai does the same and nukes sasuke from the back with hirudorah.

Also, Sasuke wasn't even fighting at 100% against Killer B, the manga affirms that he was fighting while injured.
