We've seen these threads countless times, and Sakura's always had the feat advantage due to having more time dedicated to explaining what her abilities were and what it could do while Hinata's signature move, twin lion fists, were never used on panel. Now, we actually have a DB entry dedicated to what it does.

It's a shape transformation of chakra that greatly increases the reach and destructive power. Basically, this means it's gentle fist on steroids.

However, here's the catch. The arms are shaped like lions that drain the chakra network of those they touch. So it both messes up organs, and rips out the victim's chakra out of their chakra network. Take into consideration she can use it with 64 palms, this can be pretty haxed in CQB.

Thread that revealed this.

CONDITIONS: Hinata can use Twin Lion fists and 64 palms like she said she could in the manga. Summoning is restricted. I want this to be a straight taijutsu fight. Edit: starting distance, 10m.

My thoughts:

Hinata wins because it's the perfect counter to the yin seal.

1. Regeneration requires a lot of chakra by itself. It can run out fairly quickly if abused as seen with Tsunade. Considering that Hinata's gentle step is an upgraded version of heavily damaging organs and takes rips away chakra from the chakra networks in addition, the drain is that much more heavy. With 64 palms, Hinata has incredibly fast striking speed, and could quickly take out the yin seal's reserves in chakra.

2. Sakura's physical strength isn't actually that impressive. She simply uses chakra-enhanced strength, which is storing chakra into her fists and releasing it as an explosion. Going by the DB description, if lion fist and CE strength collided, the chakra stored up would be sucked out, making it just a normal fist as opposed to Hinata's powerful gentle fist attack.

3. The pet-favorite Sakura argument about slamming the ground does not hold water. It can be intercepted by air palm.

Neji sent Kidomaru to his death with a mere two Jyuuken attacks.

Hinata using Lion Fists's on Sakura will kill her instantly .

A.) if you have to restrict something you know they're stronger

B.) getting close to her means death. She won't survive the AOE of her punch. Punching or kicking the ground takes 1 sec. Air palm isn't dong anything to Sakura.

Your argument is based off if hinata can land consecutive blows which isn't happening. Hinata will never be able to beat her. Plus Sakura can dodge all if her attacks

A. Actually, I simply don't want to deal with debating against a huge slug. I want to have it actually Hinata VS Sakura in their techniques.

B. And it takes longer for Hinata to use air palm when it was used to counter spikes so fast, that Sakura couldn't react?:| The chakra in her fist will be quite visible to the Byakugan. Sakura dodging gentle fist moves such as 64 palms is bullcrap.

Just wait until the databook reveals the full potential of the Byakugou. There is a whole page about the technique ^

Really? What was your problem with it? It wrapped things up well enough.

Choji, Sai and Kiba's wives were such ass pull relationships. Gaara's hair cut, no Byakugan babies, too much technology, no Orochimaru etc. I've actually been upset with the series performance for a long time.

No. Sakura doesn't lose.
One her yinseal chakra is sealed.
Two Hinata will never get that close, or she'll die.
Sakura molds chakra faster, Hinata would be dead while she trying to mold the chakra,
Let's say it works. Sakura just can use her seal once more, when sasuke fought in part 1 the chakra sucking dude had to suck all of his chakra forcing him to use the curse seal, the curse seal wasn't effected

it's still sakura.

simply because hinata is not a good fighter. (don't get butthurt because sakura is not a very good one too) hinata's only redeeming trait is byakugan that she can use to observe but other than that she never stopped to think about tactics or anything like that.

not to say sakura is the world best fighter as well but at least sakura think of tactics like changing her fighting patterns/recognizing enemy patterns (forest of death, sasori), bunshins(forest of death) antidotes(sasori) deceptions(sasori) gas(kiba/lee/sai) poison(sasuke/naruto). she will even bomb herself to get the result she wants (sasori), which will injure hinata if she's fighting close. plus the yin seal gives her more chakra/durability + a practically undead summon which is also considered her healing/offensive summon.

therefore logic dictates that the one with more experience/durability/options will win.

Sakura should still win low difficulty. Like Kidomaru says, gentle fist isn't much of a threat when you don't have to fight up front. Sakura's punch to the ground>>>>>>>>>>Air palm in terms of energy output and range so that will not work out for her. Sakura also possesses far superior speed, intellect and stamina in comparison to Hinata.
