Kishi should've just sidelined Sakura and made Hinata a main character the moment the pain Arc finished.
No one really likes Sakura, and the whole Hinata vs Pain thing made people remember that there's another heroine in the manga who isn't completely and utterly annoying.
She also happens to have bigger t1tz

Makes you wish she was in team 7, huh? Omg, I would love to see her exchange words with Sasuke(apart from the bonds film).

It doesn't imo, I think it is really forced. I don't think Sakura is necessarily the fit for Naruto, but she is a waaay more fitting candidate.

Hinata is one of the most passive characters I've ever seen in anything. I could not see Naruto feeling anything for someone like that.

Her heroism at Pain was cool, but then she went back to being passive once again.

I see a lot about them not knowing one another but I don't think that is a huge determining factor. For example when Minato and Kushina started liking each other they had little to no contact before their big romantic moment.

She's easily the best developed female character. But not like she has much competition seeing as Kishi has been neglecting his female characters.
Best developed? What exactly has she developed besides her figure since part 1? The courage to tell Naruto her feelinga? That's hardly any development at all.

Not about getting Naruto to notice her. About she herself becoming stronger despite being shunned by her own family as a weak person. I admire that about her. About the second part of Naruto, it is indeed more focused on how she acts around Naruto, she's become more confident, not cowering away whenever he's around and being more determined and straightforward. Having the guts to tell him motivating words when he's about to break apart.
