DBZ has so many plot holes, but I will always love Broly. He's one sexy and powerful villain.

There is not one moment in DBZ that made me say "Hey, that was pretty complex" There is nothing complex in DBZ in the slightest! Well Vegeta, but even then he's the only character who gets character development in it so..ugh. Damn, I gotta stop analyzing DBZ before I officially start hating it forever Lol

If it wasnt for DBZ Naruto wouldnt even exist. There are many elements which Naruto ripped off from DBZ and Naruto Sasuke rivalry looked much forced compared to Goku and Vegeta

Not really, it would exist just quite different. Kishi didn't base his entire manga on DBZ, in fact Naruto has taken more elements from Hunter x Hunter than DBZ. The only thing kishi mostly took from DBZ is the rivalry against Naruto and Sasuke and stuff like that. In fact, how do we know that DBZ's content is 100% original? Im pretty sure i could find a couple of things DBZ copied off just by doing a 20 minutes research.

Because all kids care about is people beating each other up and explosions, Naruto doesn't always have that. Although, not being a fanboy here but, im pretty sure world-wide the sales are comparable.

Again proving that kids like DBZ because it has lots of people beating up others and explosions, while more mature people prefer manga's that have character depth and other stuff like that. But obviously since kids outnumber those type of people its obvious DBZ's sales are higher, i admit myself when i was a kid i loved DBZ because of all the fights and action but as i grew older i wanted manga's that weren't just about overpowered characters fighting each other. I wanted a manga with actual depth, in fact most people now a days talk about DBZ to keep it alive and because of nostalgia.

The best DB arc was when Goku was a kid.

You use the word "Kids" alot when talking about dbz. Pretty Ironic really when you think of how many kids actually watch/Read naruto and hang out on this very forum.

Why you think "Kids" are carrying Dbz i don't know.

Most people today were reading/watching DBZ when they were younger am i wrong? You think kids actually cared about character development or depth? like 10/100,000 kids care about that stuff when it comes to what they read/watch. Im not talking about now, because i don't know if kids still read/watch bad animated/ drawn manga/shows like DBZ when we have graphics like GTA 5 out. But i don't disagree kids also watch/read Naruto but there are quite a lot more mature older people that read/watch Naruto.

Your Point?.

I'm sure people started reading/Watching Naruto when they were mere "Kids". By this Logic Naruto is also being carried by "Kids".

You think kids actually cared about character development or depth?

Actually yes.

Character development helps kids gain attachments to characters, Which in turn keeps them watching. Alot of DBZ fans watched/Read Dragonball, Before DBZ actually came out.

Which keeps them interested when DBZ came out. When people Harp on about Plot/Development blah blah blah, they don't actually factor in Dragonball, or are to young to of actually of seen it at all and started straight with DBZ.

It's like starting at shippuden and complaining Character development is a bit lacking for side characters and such.

Im not talking about now, because i don't know if kids still read/watch bad animated/ drawn manga/shows like DBZ when we have graphics like GTA 5 out.

Believe it or not, some don't care about it not being the highest quality of Drawing/Graphics. (Mainly older people)

It's the younger people who normally whine and bitch about Drawing/Graphics quality

But i don't disagree kids also watch/read Naruto but there are quite a lot more mature older people that read/watch Naruto.

There are also alot of older people that still enjoy DBZ.

You generalize far to much

DBZ was over when quite a majority of the people were still kids. People started Naruto when they were kids but they aren't anymore so..

Not as many kids think about character development or stuff like that as much as you think they do, look at Kaguya, she was a horrible villain with an almost non-existent explanation of where she came from or about her character, Kishi just popped her in the manga to kill off Madara. Yet in japan the sales were damn high, especially when kaguya was introduced, and if im not mistaken, Kids are the ones who mostly read Naruto in japan, meaning they liked her because of the main thing that Kishi described her as, powerful, nation-busting powers and almost unstoppable. What does that tell you?

Exactly what i was pointing out to.

I did mention that the people who still love DBZ now watched it when they were kids right? Obviously they still enjoy it because of nostalgia and other reasons. Give any kid something like DBZ and tell them to watch/read it and they would either dislike the bad animation or drawing or they would enjoy the amount of fights in it.

Dragonball was started in 1984 and ended in 1995. As a manga, It ran for 11 Years.

So yeah.

Yet in japan the sales were damn high, especially when kaguya was introduced,

I'm pretty sure Kaguya had no affect on sales what so ever and that the Maturity/Age cannot be judged based on kaguya's appearance for a few chapters and sales during that time.

Also i'm sure by that point people have been following/Buying the manga for years kept on going, Even during the whole kaguya thing to simply follow the manga to the end.

and if im not mistaken, Kids are the ones who mostly read Naruto in japan, meaning they liked her because of the main thing that Kishi described her as, powerful, nation-busting powers and almost unstoppable. What does that tell you?

Baseless claims are baseless.

Well Obviously these Kids have been enjoying DBZ since it is still going strong and the games/shows are still selling well enough for them to keep making sequels, I'm pretty sure i'd be right in the assumption this isn't purely down to the old fanbase but also it drawing in new views also.

Even So, DBZ's animation has been redone many of times to look more modern, Which helps the appeal to the younger generation.
