DBZ has the most basic plot when compared to other Shounen especially the ones that were around it's time like Yu Yu Hakusho. Let me say this, when I watch DBZ I turn my brain off and enjoy the ride, but if I leave my brain on for some reason and watch DBZ i literally nitpick everything I see and can't enjoy it at all.
