While continuously posting threads about how op a character is, is annoying. The positive side is preferred because the negative she be obvious to the one that likes the character. If they can't see the faults then let them be, forcing why you dislike their fav is pointless.
Forcing? Oh please, it's no more forcing why you dislike a character than threads about how well written or strong a character is is forcing why you like them. People need to stop being so child-like and avoiding any conflict or brashness.

Valid point you said but why is it necessary to have threads like: "why blah is a bad character." While I would agree if people had actual reasons and points and not just bias but you know that won't happen. People will just abuse this right easily, adding fuel to a already lit fire. And avoiding conflict doesn't mean your a child it just means you're a level headed person. Some people take things personally can't change that.

It's not unnecessary. The ability and freedom to find faults in writing is what establishes the standards for good writing in the first place. If the faults were never pointed out, we'd eventually stop knowing what constitutes as good, and a book like the Berenstein Bears Goes Camping could be seen on the same level as Don Quixote. Avoiding conflict isn't a bad thing, but when it makes you so squeemish that you instigate rules to get rid of it, then you're just laughable.

Mhm, I understand that pointing out faults is normal in writing. But in this case its characters and some people tend to take it to heart and don't want to hear of these faults. or it's insulting to why do you need to point out the faults, when the manga sometimes already stated it. I know its healthy to point and acknowledge faults but in nb not many will do it in a mature manner. And it is true if you can't acknowledge the characters faults or bad points then you'll probably develop an unhealthy obsession.

Then those people need to grow the **** up for real, and stop expecting to be pampered because they wanna act like pansies. If you're legitimately offended, hurt or upset someone said something bad about your favorite characters, you're the one in need of some introspection.
