Let's downplay the fact that he only had one rinnegan at the time and half its power.....
Ok so he realized that it would be easier to take Obito's rinnegan in his current state than Sasuke's who's being backed up by Rikudou Naruto.
His rinnegan was about to be destroyed, so he made a choice.
I would have done the same in his position.
Why risk fighting two strong individuals to get one eye from them with only half your power when the other rinnegan is on someone who can't move?
You're quick to bash Madara without thinking perspective.

Each replies brings more excuses. If he was as great as his fans claim to be he wouldn't have ran away. And he didn't miss half his power just because he had only 1 rinnegan bruh. If anything he was missing a quarter since 2 Rinnegan + Juubi = full Rikudo

He had a portion of his power stolen by Obito and given to Naruto.....
and what you're saying is that Madara should have just risked continuing to fight with his incomplete power?
Madara was smart to do what he did. It's called thinking. He's not reckless like Sasuke.
He only gained the third eye after he got the second rinnegan. Who knows what sorts of power he gained from that.

Man, I'll stop claiming that when people will stop finding excuses for him. He got sliced in half twice before going for his 2nd Rinnegan, yet people will only try to find excuses and take Sasuke's and Naruto's credit away. Thing is, he was cut in half. His only excuse is that he wasn't at full power just yet. But that doesn't mean he got sliced on purpose, nor that he didn't care about it.

His rinnegan was about to be destroyed by Sakura in that second and he can't die whilst jinchuriki. So why would he worry about being sliced in half over the rinnegan being destroyed and his plans being ruined?
He grew back half his body from Gai's attack no problem and grew back his lower half after being sliced by Sasuke. Gai still lost after getting a direct hit on Madara with his strongest attack.
Yet you claim that Sasuke slicing Madara in half while he was focused on getting back his rinnegan means that he got soloed or whatever.

you're either genuinely stupid or intentionally trying to troll to ask if Madara ever won a fight.
"running away" implies he wasn't planning on returning to fight them. He just left to get his other eye. Unlike Sasuke, he wasn't nearly foolish enough to rely solely on his hubris to win fights.
