This fight, as should have been believed to, was never meant nor could have been one-sided for either one. Like in the past, Indra and Ashura had fought for years over ideals and prophecies on how the world should be lead and ruled. What Indra failed to realize, was that the two were meant as one, and that he could not do anything without the other. Ashura did not win any battles, he won the war over ideals. Sasuke, however, tested Naruto to see if he himself could truly carry on, on his own for the rest of his life. This battle was fair, and a tie. The former admitted defeat in his ideals of bearing hatred, a reference to their past ancestors.
