The first one, I'm actually surprised I don't see more often. I know it's weaker ranked than the S rank one but it also seems to have slightly different functions. I like that there are no hand seals, as this can be created in the path of a technique rather quickly. Another reason I'm surprised more people don't use this version is you don't seem to have to maintain contact with anything once created, easily a fair trade off for the one rank weakernessness. I can definitely see myself using this in battle even after I learn the S ranked one as they both can serve a different purpose in different situations...

Now, onto the (former) bane of my existence...that damned swamp ~_~. For a long time, I dreaded seeing this move in my opponents move set, and now I look forwards to passing the misery along to others xD. Interestingly enough, I just traded for a jutsu that allows me to movean opponents C rank or below jutsu or A ranked jutsu of my own around the field like a chess piece. I look forwards to making the swamp, having them escape it, then having the swamp chase them around the field lmao...

(Doton: Dosenki) - Earth Release: Mudslide Technique
Rank: A

Description: After performing a sequence of three hand seals Dog → Ram → Boar the user then creates a small wall of earth to rise up from the ground infront of them and cause a mud slide to form from the wall and directs it towards the enemy target/s to try engulf them.

Slightly different to the way it is used in the Anime: You still need the three hand seal, and I'm adamant that you need to punch the ground still, however the ground doesn't rise up that much (like shows in the video), causing a release of dirt, sand, or mud depending on the terrain. You release your chakra into the ground via the punch, raising the ground you are standing on up a few meters, kind of like a fault line suddenly shifting, causing the earth to run rampant and engulf your opponent.

Description: The user will manipulate their chakra to create the earth in front of them to turn to a lose like quality by slamming his hands on the ground to create a landslide that is directed towards the enemy target in the form of a wave of earth.

This one is slightly different from the one prior, in that you need to be the one uphill or on higher ground for it to be effective. Channel your chakra into the ground in front of you by slamming your hands on the ground, loosening it to the point where it simply falls away in a large landslide towards your targets. This one has a longer reach too.

Both interesting techniques. The first one is pretty useful actually, can send an opponent sliding backwards from the mudslide, and raises you off the ground a little bit. Not, however, a fan of all the seals and having to punch the round to initiate it, I probably wouldn't use it unless I had Doton as one of my affinities. Or if the enemy used a jutsu like the fire one that travels along the ground this would be great to nullify it in it's tracks.

Now the 2nd one, I like more. The range is better, and if I used earth rising core to dodge an attack, I could use this as well to create the landslide from the previous jutsu creating a pretty good counter attack, and could also carry them away from me all the way back to long range. Though with my love for Taijutsu, I'd prefer to keep them niiiiice and close...*cracks knuckles* xD

I believe you know how my training works. Please note nature and shape manipulation whilst performing.

Pretty much gather doton chakra within your body before releasing it into the ground which is at least mid range in distance from you. When done with doing so, manipulating chakra with the earth, as well as with usage of nature and shape manipulation make two huge pillars of rock emerge from the ground. Keep in mind that you can not use this jutsu in short range from you as it will damage you.

(Doton: Kujo Joushou Iwa Chuuseki) - Earth Release: Destructive Rising Rock Pillars

I believe you know of this jutsu. It is pretty useful. Pretty much focus doton chakra within your body before releasing it somewhere on the battlefield. Once done with so, using nature and shape manipulation make the area in which you released chakra lower down, making a 20 meters deep pit, before once again rising it up.

The size of the affected area as well as the depths that it is lowered to is up to the user and rasing earth can be done up to 20 meters tall creating a small cliff or they can create trenches that can be as deep as 20 meters. Other than being moved below ground relative to the surrounding surface the terrain is not altered, plant life and people retaining their same positions.

I would imagine the speed of this one isn't super fast, given the size of the rocks that emerge. Which would also play into it's disadvantages. The advantages, however, if altering the field and being able to decimate enemies or large summons that are mid to long ranges of yourself. The disadvantages, like previously stated, would be the tell-tale signs using such a large jutsu would cause, making it rather easy to tell it's happening and formulate a defense. Also, not being able to use this close range makes it more situational, but still, a pretty decent large attack...
I gather and mold my chakra, manipulating it's nature to doton chakra inside of my body before releasing it to the ground, causing large rock pillars to emerge mid range from myself impaling my enemies large summons...

Clearly a fast jutsu, as it's even stated in the jutsu itself, I really like this one. The advantage is quickly being able to block/dodge incoming attacks at great speeds. I can't even really say i see any disadvantages, other than being weak to lightning xD. A solid, very useful jutsu, that I will now take advantage of since i can finally use it ^^.
As my opponents attack bears down on me, I concentrate and mold my chakra inside, changing it's nature to doton as I slam my hands to the ground, quickly lowering the ground around me 20 meters deep avoiding the attack, once it passes by overhead, I quickly repeat the process raising the ground back up 20 meters...

BRILLIANT! AWESOME! LOVE IT!

These two next jutsus work based upon on a similar principal. So you pretty much focus your chakra in a specific object as you perform a single seal and place your hands onto that object and then use nature and shape manipulation as to make that object either lighter or heavier. If you are using Added weight Rock technique you are capable of increasing weight of your target to up to 10 times. Also you can augment that ability to taijutsu, increasing your damage by 20. You can also use this ability on mud (of course not in all cases) , adding weight as to increase the momentum, impact force as well as adding damage. On the other hand you have Light Weight Rock Technique which will alow you to decrease weight of a object by 10 times and that way increase its speed. However if used to augment your speed, your taijutsu attacks will lose 10 damage and thus making them weaker.

(Doton: Kajūgan no Jutsu): Earth Style: Added Weight Rock Technique

One interesting side effect of the technique is that when its used on wood based techniques (such as Zetsu's spore clones or normal wood), the infusion of large amounts of earth chakra into it will actually petrify the target in addition to increasing its weight. A similar effect can be achieved in other earthen materials such as mud. The user can also add weight to a given attack (if feasible) to increase both momentum and impact force, effectively adding damage to it.
Note: The weight change lasts 2 turns or until countered.
(Doton: Keijūgan no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Light Weight Rock Technique

Damage points: N/A (up to -20 if used to boost speed of a physical attack)
Description: Contrary to its counterpart (the Earth Release: Added-Weight Rock Technique), instead of making the target heavier, this technique makes it much lighter, though still using the same principle and mechanics. The user will make direct contact with the given target (through his hands), infusing them with earth chakra and lowering their weight drastically. The technique can lower a targets weight up to 10 times less than it originally had. This allows freer manipulation of the affected objects, which would normally carry considerably more weight and as such, require a greater amount of exertion to move. The technique can be used on the user or other shinobi to increase their speed, but as a consequence of using it this way, it results in the decrease of the physical force of their blows. The same principle applies if used on a physical attack wich will be faster but will carry less momentum and as such, less physical damage. It doesn't change the "strength" of binding techniques (like Sand Release), where the user is manipulating a dynamic element but will decrease the impact damage of techniques that rely on it.
Note: The initial effects last for 2 turns or until countered.

Both interesting jutsu's. The main advantages I see is making someone so heavy they can't move, and adding +20 damage to tai is nice but I would only use this at the last second so I didn't lose speed until I was right upon them. also, being able to increase the weight of mud and other earthen objects could be useful in adding to their destructive force. The disadvantages are the lack of speed if used on yourself, and having to actually touch someone/something to use it on them...
I gather and mold my chakra, changing it's nature to doton as I perform the snake seal, and increase my weight 10 fold as my opponent creates a swamp beneath me, making me sink like a rock in water...wait, what?! 0_0

(Doton: Keijūgan no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Light Weight Rock Technique
Now this one on the other hand, is quite useful if used with something like an earth affinitied summons, or a shadow clone who could be throw at hi speeds then increase its weight on it's on before striking. The advantage is obviously the speed, though I wonder if this would help one not to sink into that dreaded swamp of doom lol. The disadvantage is the lack of power that comes along with being so lightweight, which I know all about irl...

I think you still don't know shadow clones? I will skip the technique which needs them however if you do know shadow clones I will add it to the next batch of techniques.

Gather doton chakra within your stomach before releasing it from your mouth. Using nature and shape manipulation form a earthly material that forms into a large slab of rock as it hovers towards the target with incredible force. Now on impact with the ground, the formed slab of rock forces earth to splinter and jab anyone who is caught in vicinity of it.

( Doton: Iwarin Heiban ) - Earth Release: Rock Scale Slab

Seems relatively fast to create, and with the description saying it travels with incredible force, I'd say it also moves pretty fast as well. Some advantages are that even if the intended target dodges, the impact with the ground can cause earth to splinter up, attacking anything up to mid range of the impact. A major disadvantage however, would be the size of the slab, which gives plenty of forewarning for a ninja to use to counter/dodge...
I gather and mold my chakra, kneading it in my gut as I change it's nature to doton and then release from my mouth an earthly substance that forms a huge rock slab that flies quickly at my enemy, even if they dodge it will hit the ground with such force the ground it'self will slinter up and also attack anyone in a 10 meter radius from the impact zone...

Now let's get going onto S ranks Veggie~~~~~~~

So this next technique is similar to the A ranked version however it works on a much greater scale and is bigger but at the same time it leaves you pretty exhausted if used multiple times. After choosing a specific area which you want to effect, release your chakra into it as you slam your hands onto the ground. Molding chakra with the ground, use nature and shape manipulation as to firstly lower down the ground up to 100 meters deep so fast that you would be capable of leaving your opponent without a footing. Now once you've done so, I'd like for you to once again manipulation the chakra but this time to rise the ground. The speed of arising should be so fast, that you would be capable of pinning down enemies caught within the technique. However you can use this technique only once.

(Doton: Daichidōkaku) - Earth Release: Great Moving Earth Core

Description: This technique grants the user the ability to freely lower or raise the terrain within a specific area surrounding them, in a similar manner to its parent technique, albeit on a much larger scale. The user will slam his hands on the ground which he can then lower or raise the ground up to 100 meters in a large section. The rise will be fast enough to pin enemies to the ground, restricting their movements as they struggle to get up and the drop will be fast enough to leave almost all enemies without a footing (albeit not airborne). Because of the large chakra needed to alter such a large area of the terrain, the user will be able to use it only a limited number of times.
Note: Can only be used twice.

Similar to the Water Dragon technique, release doton chakra into the ground of your vicinity as you perform a sequence of few seals, Horse → Dog → Bird → Ox → Snake. Molding the chakra with the ground, use nature and shape manipulation forming a dragon. This dragon should be capable of reaching long range.

Awesome jutsu, and one of the most useful yet under used...till now! I plan on using this one quite a bit xD. It's very fast, and if one simply was crouched doing one jutsu, they could easily make use of this even faster by being able to slam the hands to the ground even faster. The advantage is being able to raise and lower the ground anywhere on the field at tremendous speed, the disadvantage is having to touch the ground, that's all I can think of for disadvantages, it's a great jutsu...
I gather and mold my chakra, changing it's nature to doton as I slam my hands to the ground, releasing the doton chakra into it to below my enemy, making an area 2 meters around underneath my enemy drop very quickly, making them almost lose their footing as the plummet 100 meters beneath the ground in a tube like formation...then I fill it with lots of S rank fire!

Another excellent technique, and a wonderful way to escape from that dreaded swamp of doom >_>....I'm still not speaking to it. The advantage is making a freaking awesome dragon of stone rise from the ground anywhere on the field that packs destructive force, the disadvantage is all the seals, but a jutsu like this makes it tempting to make earth a secondary or even primary affinity someday. The speed would depend on someones elemental affinities. While not too bad, 5 seals are much easier to interrupt then one, and making 5 seals while the swamp forms instantly below you could be called out by someone who thinks the swamp would make that impossible, so it's a medium-fast jutsu, depending...

Right so for this next technique what I need for you to do is actually focus doton chakra within your hands before slamming them onto the ground. Release this doton chakra deep into the ground before using nature and shape manipulation as to bring it forcefully from the ground whilst forming a shape of a volcano around it as for it to be expelled from the opening of the formed volcano. Keep in mind that size of the formed volcano so to say varies depending on your needs.

(Doton: Kaido Shōkutsu) - Earth Style: Opening Earth Rising Excavation

This next technique can only be used twice per match. Form 3 hand seals, Tiger → Ram → Rat as you focus doton chakra within your hands and then slam it onto the ground. Then release this doton chakra mid range from you whilst molding it with earth. Using nature and shape manipulation form two enormous rock formations on both sides of your target. Then make them come together as to slam your target. Because of the size as well as the power of the rocks this technique can not be used in vicinity to you, aka short range.

(Doton: Yama Eikyō) - Earth Release: Mountain Smash

Description: The user will do 3 handseals (Tiger → Ram → Rat) and slam his hands on the ground which creates two enormous rock formations that close in on the opponent from two opposing sides with tremendous force, smashing everything caught in between. Both of these formations are capable of dwarfing even the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path in size. This is one the most strongest Earth based techniques, standing as a testament to both this ability's destructive potential and its difficulty. However, because of its size and power, it can only be used a limited amount of times, requires much chakra and can only be used at least mid range from the user.

Hm..well speed wise I'd say pretty fast if your only trying to bring out something small like a person, but using it to bring up something larger like a summons might slow down this quite a bit. The advantage is being able to force someone/something from out of hiding in the ground, or from sneak attacking you. The disadvantage is only being able to do this mid-long ranged of your self. I would imagine the jutsu must be performed mid-long range as to not injure oneself as the volcano like formation erupts...

I love this one, and I'm shocked I don't see it used more often. The advantage is the sheer size and damage of this attack, outrageous amount of pain if your stuck in the middle (well, more like death xD). The disadvantage would also have to be the size of it, as that's a meta gamers dream scenario, gonna be hard not to notice that one coming at you. Doesn't seem like that fastest jutsu to perform, I'd prolly have a clone or summons perform it for me so I am free to do other things...

So this next technique is pretty useful however while it is active you may only use techniques of earth element. Focus doton charka within specific part of your body before releasing it whilst using nature manipulation as to generate earth and shape manipulation as to form a dense multitude of rock. It acts as an armour. You can extend parts of the armour so to say forming different kinds of weapons like hammers and so. Per each turn it will drain you 15 chakra points.

(Doton: Koka no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Hardening Technique

Description: The user releases a burst of earth chakra from all over his body. As he does this, a multitude of rock seemingly grows from his skin, forming a large, dense armour or rock much bigger and bulkier than the users original size. The armour can be manipulated and used to create extendable weapons to strike a target with like rudimentary swords or hammers. The downside is that the user cannot mold techniques from other elements a part from earth while sustaining the armor. The armor can be manifested in only specific parts of the body if the user so chooses.

Ok so this next technique is similar to the Stone Golem Technique however it is bigger in size. Pretty much focus doton chakra within your hands as yoou slam them onto the ground. Release the chakra and molding it with the earth use nature and shape manipulation as to make huge warrior of stone arise. It is active as long as you are in contact with the ground. The golem can be up to 30 meters tall and although it seems massive it has good movement capabilities.

(Doton: Dai iwa Kyojin no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Great Stone Golem Technique

Description: The user creates a even larger and stronger version of Earth Release: Stone Golem Technique. However, unlike the smaller version, the user creates this stone golem from the ground solely. The user will slam his hand on the ground, manipulating it and shaping it into a large warrior of stone which he can control as long as he keeps his hand in contact with it or with the ground and keeps fueling the technique with chakra. The golem can reach heights of 30 meters and is quite massive but seems to also be capable of moving quite fast as well.

Excellent jutsu. The advantage is clearly being able to tank a lot of physical attacks, create stone weaponry/shields while still able to use earth release jutsu's, as well as produce an S ranked body surge of chakra. The disadvantage is the loss of speed and usage of other chakra natures. As for speed, it seems pretty fast...

(Doton: Dai iwa Kyojin no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Great Stone Golem Technique
Another technique I've seen used in many different ways. the advantages are firstly being able to procue a 30 meter tall ally in battle that just happens to be made of stone, but also I have seen people use its hands to shield them from attack, as well as create it to get themselves out of the swamp. The disadvantage is having to maintain contact with it or the ground to maintain it, making it not entirely a separate entity in battle, and hard to use other techniques without losing control of it. As for speed, it seems very fast as all one has to do is slam their hands to the ground while molding and releasing earth chakra to create it, and could even bend down low during the previously used jutsu to seemlesly use this afterwards, as bending down to touch the ground is more time consuming from an upright standing position...
I gather and mold my chakra, changing it's nature to doton as I slam my hands to the earth, releasing the molded chakra into the ground and using shape manipulation forming a lrage earth golem warrior to begin to rise head first under Vegeta's hands, rising 30 meters into the air as it lets out a thunderous roar, Vegeta smiling on top of it's head awaiting his next opponent...

And let's get going with last two techniques of Earth Release :yay:

So both techniques we kinda went over when we were doing A ranks as these are just upgrades to those and thus their effects are brought to better distances. With the Light-Weight Rock Technique you are capable of decreasing weight of a object or target holding to virtually zero, however the bigger the target is the more time is needed. Now, you will have decrease of 40 damage if you were to use it as to speed boost your physical attacks. Now when it comes to Added Weight, you will now be capable of increasing weight of a target by 100 time. Also it will increase damage by 40 if used as to enhance your attacks. The weight change of both techniques last for two turns or unless their effect is countered.

I gather and mold my chakra, changing it's nature to doton as I manipulate the chakra, releasing it thru out my entire body, decreasing my weight to about 0 as I dash across the field at hyper speeds...
The obvious advantage is the speed increase gained by lowering the weight of an object or oneself, whereas the disadvantage is the loss of power to ones blows, as well as it takes longer to use on a larger object like perhaps a summons. As for speed, unless being used on larger objects, it seems pretty fast to use, as quick as molding ones chakra.

I gather and mold my chakra, changing its nature to doton as I sneak behind my enemy, releasing the chakra thru my hand as I touch their should increasing their weight 100 times, making them fall to the ground being crushed by their own weight, flattening them to the earth like a spatula on a pancake...
Well, the advantage would be increasing the weight of something drastically to immobolize it, or to increase the weight of something to increase it's force (like using it on ones own fist at the end of a punch to increase the force behind the blow). The disadvantage the increased weight and loss of speed if you use it on yourself. I would use super lightweight on an earth affinity summons, throw the summons and have it use super added weight just before landing on someone to crush them under it's massive weight. As for speed, it seems like a relatively fast jutsu to use on oneself, the hardest part would be getting close enough to use it on someone else.
