Kishi's Sloppiness with Orochimaru

Yeah, sort of unsightly. Up until the announcement of the manga ending, I was hoping that Orochimaru with a Zetsu body either managed to match Kabuto, and thus decided to go a different route. Or he was just waiting for all the other enemies to be defeated before striking. Like what Sasuke was doing.

I am still hopeful for some minor epilogues for characters such as Orochimaru, so he's not left hanging at the end.

Yeah I was hoping him being good was just a farce and we would at least see him try to attempt absorbing Sasuke one last time.

Orochimaru finally got his arms back and the opportunity to see what he's truly capable of.......but instead Kishi decides nah

This is why I hope there's a part 3 because there are so many things left unanswered and unfinished. Part 3 would at least give the chance to rejuvenate the series and give the fans what they want.

I'm iffy on a part 3. It would give Kishi more opportunities to f*ck up...

Orochimaru is a scientist. He is a slightly mad person. But all he does has some cause. Did you ever see Orochimaru use too much. I saw him fight naruto 4 tailed with some very less jutsus. He hates acting too much. He does everything logiclly.

Thats always bothered me too.

Part 1 up to the Pain arc was just fantastic. Excellent work, awesome characters except for Karin, the art was at its best. Kishi as a whole wrote a great manga.
But now it's so awful... There's no denying that it has gone down hill.

Not necessarily. According to himself in part 1 he attacked Konoha on a whim. Because peace bores him. That's the Orochimaru I love.
But now Kishi has to turn that around and give him a deep, sentimental reason for what he did.

And he is not slightly mad. He is easily one of the most deranged, insane characters in the series.
