I'm not so sure about that. Itachis Susanno was already activated and Madara was overpowered as hell. He could fight blind ... Also, in the first Picture we can see his Rinnegan. He isn't completly blind! (But you know he can use his rinnegan as well for his susanno)

But yeha, it's more or less thing. We'll have to wait for the movie if Kakashi can use Susanno or not.

I thought that was the case for you to even qualify for obtaining Susanoo no matter the eyes and yet Kakashi used it, heck he used the ultimate version of the Susanoo.

There's no denying the manga-facts, once awakened Susanoo can be used any-time with or without the eyes so long you have the chakra U_U

Kakashi still has a fairly strong track record, his acute smell surpasses Kiba's, his intelligence surpasses that of any jounin in the leaf, his taijutsu is on par with current Lee (maybe even no Gates Guy) and he has managed to copy over 1,000 jutsu's in his time. Without the sharingan he won't run out of chakra as fast, and If anything he'll just have slower reaction time.
