He is still maturing. Just because he no longer has a sharingan doesn't mean he is weak. Nor does it mean he is done learning new techniques and jutsu. There is a time skip in the movie in which he has ample time to learn jutsu, maybe even some sealing or possibly even a sage mode of some sort. You never know.

I think Kakashi will make a great hokage...but I am somewhat biased in my opinion as he is my fav

This^ plus with out the drainage of the Sharingan, we might get more feats and jutsu development. Idk if there will be a threat big enough for the Hokage to fight though.
