Seems more like a fodder villain that used to build up a bigger threat. Wouldn't you agree? Got owned by Sexy Jutsu and Sakura, then two more others villains popped up after her. It seems like part 3 is happening through the New Era Project as some expected with the spoilers.

I already knew she wasn't Lol even Kishi said it himself. The Juubi(Kaguya), Madara then Sasuke. That was the order those people were going to be taken care of and what do you know it happened in that order.

Even Manga Reader in Japan were disappointed with Kaguya becoming Final Villain .

That was one of the rare flaw of Kishimoto guess he was tired by the end of the story and wanted to finish the manga as soon as possible and to move on to his next Project.

In my point of view, she should have never been there. Madara either. If Kishi went from Obito straight to Sasuke it would have been a lot cooler.

By that like logic The Dark Avatar in Legend of Korra was the final villain. Even though he was defeated by the end of season 2 out of a 4 season series, with several other villains that came afterwards.

Final villain means the last villain which Kaguya wasn't. Sasuke came after and then that dude in the movie.

Majority of real villains in the real world look like everyday next door neighbors. They don't wear fancy clothing nor have people proclaiming them as His or He villainies.
