I don't need convincing to me my definition of his loss is the failure of his goal, to destroy the tailed beasts which he has lost control of / the goal to kill Naruto which he won't succeed in doing for obvious reasons.
Why would I think something as stupid as Naruto not winning in the actual physical combat? I think the exact opposite because in my opinion like I said clearly earlier in my posts that Naruto has all the time he needs to enter Sage Mode and counter Sasuke's Chidori, while in SM he can wait till the last second to do so proof of such was shown in his fight against Pein / Nagato
Kurama bailed Naruto out twice in the part 1 fight. Sasuke punctured base mode Naruto's lung, which normally would have ended the fight and knocked kn0 mode unconscious before the kyuubi revived Naruto. The only time Sasuke had trouble in the fight was when Kuruma was acting independently, he handled Naruto himself with little trouble. It's not really Sasuke's fault that he unlocked the 3t and the senjutsu sasuke got was merely a leveller, Naruto had a freaking beast that was a near-unlimited source of chakra that regenerated vital organs. Sasuke was just better than him, deal with it.
he had the advantage plenty of times but still couldn't do anything, though the same is true now the same thing will happen next week. Nothing will happen Sasuke will just get beaten
All power (eye power and body power) and chakra originates from the 10 tails. Naruto uses the body power that has it's advantages (EI: gives the user chakra) and Sasuke uses the eye power that has it's advantages (EI: Automatically gives the user jutsu)
