[Discussion] Would you ever murder?

Obviously I didnt commit the murder. Im not in jail and I am a marine. I have killed people yes. But as a service for my country. Not for personal gain.

OT: you shouldn't kill, and you shouldnt cut yourself, as a marine, your are better than that.
You have to power through your own life before you can protect others.
(Not that I'm an expert on the subject...)

The cutting took place before the marines. I was able to go due to the physician passing me.

Back then I was going through a tough spot. A lot better now.

I dont see it as a personal gain. I didnt enjoy it. It was work. I get paid to do it.

I know it's not that simple and you have your reasons but it's still a personal gain.

Anyways I'm not one who should judge or anything, but it's good for people to fight for something positive.

I might kill if driven to it in the heat of the moment being temporarily beside myself in an extreme fit of rage, having poor impulse control and a short temper, but otherwise clear-headed no, I don't derive any sort of sick satisfaction from claiming the life of another. Those people have a severe mental sickness and should be euthanized.

But at the same time I can easily see myself brutally murdering someone who kills for fun. I'd just ****ing lose it and stab him feverishly like a man possessd, lunatic bulging eyes all the while. I'd get a real kick out of that actually, I'm getting all giddy just thinking about it.

edit: but to be clear, no I wouldn't kill under your circumstances and in no way condone or encourage it.

I enjoy manga and have various hobbies.

I dont just kill for a paycheck. There are other jobs I have. Im not a cold blooded murderer. I only kill those that attack me or my unit.

Okay I know that?... but you said you were close to doing so which is still not right imo. I obviously don't know every little detail of your situation though so I'm just going off by what you said so far.. either way murdering someone would only make your situation worse. If youre having these thoughts you need to get help from people (friends,family,professional) or just push past your situation start over again or make the best of it though its not going to be easy.

Yea I pushed those feelings away. I am now much calmer and more peaceful. Drugs also supplemented those bad thoughts but Spade3dg is 100% sober.

Find a better girlfriend (she obviously wasn't as nice as you thought and the very fact you describe her as "the girl" of your dreams" says that you were seeing her with rose coloured glasses as there is no such thing as a lover of your dreams because no human is perfect)
Find a new place to live
Take the physical again
STOP CUTTING, deal with your issues, don't resort to an escape that will serve you no good.

That is my advice and I hope things improve for you, you are young, don't take so much notice of the bumps in the road they will always come, learn to weather them, humans improve by experience, it is not what happens that matters but how you handle it and learn from it, a cliché that happens to be true

Before I get simple-minded answers to this question hear me out. This is based off of a situation in my life I had recently.

Your life is going perfect. You have the girl of your dreams, nice paying job and a place with your best friend. You leave for the Marine corp in 4 months. Everything is going fine.

Then all of a sudden your ex gets you fired from your job. Your girl cheats on you. Your landlord evicts you. You fail a physical due to cutting yourself because of depression. Your whole world comes crashing down.

The people that ruined it for you. Are so close. So easily dealt with. Would you handle the situation differently or would you go along with the murders?

How tf do you fail a physical because of cut marks...

What would murder accomplish? Does it fix anything, do you get something back in return, or is it just to satisfy your ego which took a hit. If the latter is the case rise above that shyte. Get a better girlfriend, a better friend, a better place to live, and a better job. Living better is the best revenge.

What happened to you is undeniably devastating, and I'm sorry for that. If I put myself in that situation, I would say NO. I won't murder anyone because it will only make your life more miserable. Just ask yourself first, would you really be happy if you did murder them? And if you kill yourself instead, would that really be a solution? That's a very coward move for me, you'll escape from the problem instead of facing them. Everyone has the chance to pick themselves up after falling on the ground very hard, and I hope you choose that way. Cuts indicate someone being suicidal. They dont want anyome like that because of the risk to everyone around them.
